  1. There are very few in government today that I trust.

    Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) is at the top of that list.

    Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) is on there as well.

    It was good to see Rep. Massie emphasize to the Senate the core purpose of the Founders for extending pre-existing state language on RKBA to the then new Federal Government, and good to see Sen. Paul extend that opportunity to him.

    If you took your problems to an acupuncturist, what would you expect them to do? They’d stick needles into your flesh, sometimes into places with no obvious relationship to the problems you brought to them for treatment.

    So if we take a problem to the U S Senate, who bills itself as the world’s foremost deliberative body, we should expect them to be very deliberate about deliberating the heck out of it.
