St. Louis and Jackson County argue the Second Amendment Preservation Act is unconstitutional because it puts barriers in front of local police who want to work with federal agents on gun cases. [More]
Think about that.

Notes from the Resistance
There’s a name for a state where the police get to do whatever they want.
Newsflash:
The Bill of Rights was not insisted upon, written, then ratified, in order to make the government’s job easier.
Funny how so many local jurisdictioins, like cities and counties, howled and moaned in protest when Feds asked their help in enforcing federal IMMIGRATION laws. Seems this law is a horse of that same colour.
Federal gun laws should not be enforced by locals, nor should locals be enlisiing help of various sorts to solve or [rosecute their own local laws, that are often different from Federal laws.
Should California be forced, or even allowed, to enforce federal marijuana laws? Or Oregon, Washington, etc, be so coerced?
Nope. Let the Feds enforce the laws they managed to get passed.
