The Squeaky Wheel

The state canceled a class on how to clean your AR guns after a handful of people complained to the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife that it was inappropriate in light of the mass shooting in Lewiston, according to a department spokesman. [More]

Because wanting to keep people ignorant about that is just “commonsense gun safety.”

Besides, any resultant “accidents” will only hurt “those people,” and can be exploited to blood dance in!

I was going to tweet this to them but I have an idea… lemme look into it before I say more.

  1. Your rights must be curtailed whenever people are squeamish about them.
    From New Mexico this week:

Today, on a party-line vote of 7-4, the Senate Rules Committee passed SB5, the polling place gun ban. Advocates and Senators voting for the bill did not describe any instances of people with guns interfering with anyone else’s right to vote, they just said that since some people are “uncomfortable around guns” they need to restrict our right to carry one.

I had an uncle who was “uncomfortable around black people.” Can NM find a Democrat legislator to sponsor some bills for him?

  2. Yeah, I guess the “gun safety” people don’t actually care about real gun safety. What a shocker that the people who used to support groups like Handgun Control Inc are liars!
