  1. Awww, did the VSP suffer the same outage as the FAA, that their computers went down?

    Our IT folks speculate (without a shred of proof, just speculation) that, since the FAA outage happened on “patch Tuesday” (2nd Tuesday of the month, when Microsoft releases/pushes security and stability updates), that the updates may have contributed to the problem. The timing certainly is suspect.

    If they are related it’s not surprising that other agencies and organizations might also experience problems.
