Why would they?
The Massachusetts “gun rights group” has a solid history of advocating for “comfier chains,” which some argue is the only viable position in a long-time one-party tyranny. In any event, they almost never argue repeals from first principles.
The state not only requires a permit to carry a gun, it requires a permit to BUY or even OWN a gun — handgun, shotgun, live ammo, even DEAD ammunition parts. Right down to “novelty bullet keychains.” And there are different permits for each.
Now, consider that this new tyranny affects only cops — myrmidons tasked with enforcing these abominable constitutional violations upon others.
Why would a gun-owner rights organization lift a finger to help out these tyrants who suddenly find the system they enforce turning on them?
I would be more likely to announce that my gun safe was available for temporary storage of their weapons for the following exorbitant fees — exactly as they have done for years to civilian permitees who have “temporarily” lost their licenses.
Good points and I can’t argue. Scrooem. I was thinking along the lines of if such a case would set a useful precedent for military personnel refusing the vax, getting discharged, and having that turn into a “dishonorable” one if they fight it and lose. That and plans to put refusers on the “no-fly list,” and we know what the antis want to do with that.
I live in Ma. and am a retured Deputy Sheriff. I have always been pretty disgusted by the attitudes of MSP Troopers. They seem to think that if you wern’t a MSP cop,you wern’t shit. So therefore I really don’t feel too bad for them. They were just about the only LE Department I ever encountered with this sucky attitude. I encountered them almost daily in Court and just pretty much ignored us, as if we were a do nothing group. I did know some that went to MSP from local departments and I knew them before the SP got ahold of them. They were still pretty much like their old selves.
They get this “Super Cop” attitude in the SP Academy. Funny thing was, as a ex-Marine who served in Vietnam, I did more than any of these punk Troopers ever did on the job.
Pigs avoid war zones. Their firepower is reserved for American traffic violators.
