A few guys with AR15’s, can’t compete with a squad or a platoon full auto rifles, belt fed machine guns, grenades, grenade launchers and rocket launchers.
Look back to the Battle of the Little Big Horn. One of America’s finest, or perhaps finest cavalry officer was defeated by Indians, who had what?… Superior arms. They had Winchester ’73s, ’66s, Henry’s, and Spencers. All tubular magazine fed lever action rifles. Meanwhile what did the “real” army have? Springfield Trap Door Carbines, single shot rifles, with copper cased ammunition which often jammed.
Granted there were tens of thousands of Indians, to Custer’s 230 odd men in his immediate command, look at the difference in arms. Now, think about that with modern weaponry.
