  1. Look up “virtual autism”. The TL;DR is, kids raised with too much technology don’t develop socially, don’t learn to speak normally, don’t learn to regulate emotions or emotional outbursts, etc., and the end result looks a LOT like full-blown autism.

    Put the screens away and start actively interacting with them — talking, singing, playing games, doing chores, everything — and the “autism” gets much better very quickly.

    But that requires real parenting, which looks a lot like work, and nobody likes to do that these days.
