Too Many Chiefs and Not Enough Indians?

I note some in comments are not only defending but applauding the H-1Bs. [More]

The last thing I have time for is to engage in debates under my own articles, especially since no shortage of posters shielded by anonymity seem to devolve into distractions and confirmation bias-based insults. That said, I don’t like to see some contentions go unchallenged, and I find a lot to be concerned about with some of the observations articulated by Matt Bracken. I had another link by a former HR recruiter explaining scams that H-1B companies engage in, but I guess that was too much free speech for Mr. Musk’s foreign labor-championing X.

Speaking of which, my wife retired after decades as a mainframe programmer, versatile in all the old languages that are still in demand but with an aging pool of qualified IT personnel. She still gets calls for contract openings, and nine times out of ten the recruiter’s English is practically unintelligible. My more tolerant and enlightened betters would say that shows what a dignity-violating racist I am.

I can’t help but recall how The New York Times crowed about Democrat expansion in Virginia a few years back:

“Guns, that is the most pressing issue for me,” said Vijay Katkuri, 38, a software engineer from southern India, explaining why he voted for a Democratic challenger in Tuesday’s elections. He was shopping for chicken at the Indian Spice Food Market. “There are lots of other issues, but you can only fix them if you are alive.”

As with people of all backgrounds, I’ve known a handful of exceptions, people of Indian heritage who are patriots as fine as any I’ve met, but the rule of numbers overwhelmingly results in Grewal and unusual punishment.

There’s No NOT Voting Our Way Out of This

Think of the rhetoric as a way to get them to turn the flow off at the source. That and get a better deal on transit.

Carter was such a boob.

And all that said, Trump needs to tread gingerly. There is a significant American expatriate community in Panama, and stirring up hatred among those they’re immersed in could backfire bigly.

Which police received it? What were their instructions from their superiors? How high up did it go? What will happen to those whose decisions enabled this?

How will they vote once they exit the superhighway?

And Trump wants to include the DREAMers.

Nobody is talking about the utter failure of the unionized public education system and cultural Marxist academia to produce a capable and productive 21st century workforce. Look at the massive tax and private spending on “education” in this country and realize failing urban schools spend much more per capita than many highly rated school systems, with a prime difference reflecting Democrat constituencies and life choices made by infantile adults.

So foreign kids, raised under real poverty, can eat their lunch.

Instead, the billionaires are talking cheap labor and “guaranteed annual income” to keep a mob that would eat them distracted with entitlement and bull$h!+. As we, caught in the middle, have our country “transitioned” from under us, and so many of those are distracted with trivialities.

Homan and Trump Aim to End ‘Anchor Baby’ Citizenship [More]

Just going forward? Millions are already here and coming of voting age. Since there’s no precedent to make it retroactive and there’s a Constitutional proscription against are ex post facto laws, I question if this is something they can just do by decree without years of legal challenges.

Messin’ with Texas

My Kind of Razzmatazz

“The vice mayor, a guy named Alderman Burnett, convicted of bank robbery, armed robbery, spent time in jail, he’s getting paid in addition to his aldermanic salary almost half a mil to be ‘vice mayor,’ which essentially has no duties or responsibilities other than waiting to possibly become mayor if something were to happen to Mayor Johnson,” Kelly said. The servants throw the people out of their house– talk about disenfranchising voters. It’s hard to believe they elected a bigger dolt than Lori Lightfoot, but forget it, Jake, it’s Chi-Town.

The “Chicago Flips Red” T’s are an encouraging sign, but they need to get organized. That’d be a good inroad in terms of making RKBA one of their voting considerations. On the other hand, the guy holding the “Refuse to Accept a Fascist America” banner seems mad because illegals are competitors for the plunder and cut into his share, which means his faction is culpable for giving power to scoundrels and morons and will continue to do so.

Still, if it stirs up Democrat division, that’s a silver lining, especially since the screaming Cultural Marxists turn off everyone who’s not.

‘Commonsense Gun Safety’: Mobile, Armed, and Illegal

But you can’t have a colored gun. Funny, how Michigan Democrats are simultaneously passing citizen disarmament edicts.
