I do wonder why the customers took off, because that won’t work out well for them when identified. Still, they did demonstrate that when it comes to stopping multiple predators, a “weapon of war” sure does the trick.

That the antis have glommed onto “self-defense” as an exclusionary qualifier was inevitable since that’s all the “common possessors” on our side ever talk about.

If we keep limiting ourselves that way, arms needed for the core purpose and all new technological developments restricted to military/police use will be forever denied to the people the Second Amendment was meant to apply to, and not just for “self-defense.”

I’m waiting for one of our legal influencers with a reach longer than mine to admit this and start using it.

Alternatively, I’m waiting for one of them to have the guts to challenge me on this and prove me wrong.

The mother and acquaintance stopped at a traffic light, where McDaniel allegedly hopped out of his car while wielding “a large knife” and confronted the pair. The acquaintance was legally armed and demanded McDaniel walk away, according to police. Does anybody else find the headline description misleading?

In any case, I never understood stalkers– if she makes it clear she doesn’t want you, and especially if she goes to someone else, what is there to salvage? (There’s a cheating politician analogy in there somewhere.) And if the object is to attack, no wonder she left.

She’s 75 and unlikely to develop the skills to take them out.

That said, is it unreasonable to expect the Department of Natural Resources to do more than say “Don’t feed them” and maybe set up traps to relocate them? Because if government doesn’t make its priority protecting life, rights, and property, what good is it?
