Say the People Who Celebrate Killing Those Who Disagree

Liberals rage as ABC pulls Jimmy Kimmel off air following Charlie Kirk assassin comments [More]

I like all the outraged lunatics on Kimmel’s BlueSky page losing their minds and threatening to boycott ABC/Disney, which is a wonderful outcome when you consider how woke they became trying to pander to the left.

So… when will The View get what’s coming to them?

  1. “So… when will The View get what’s coming to them?”

    Wait!

I thought we were swearing off political violence!

    Here’s the thing (IMHO).

What was the Boston Tea Party, if not “political violence”?

And couldn’t the American Revolution also be classed as “political violence?”

In the middle 19th century, the Democratic party espoused slavery and the Republican party wanted it abolished. Doesn’t that make the American Civil War yet another example of “political violence?”

And WTF was this old dead white guy going on about?

“But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.” — Jefferson’s Declaration of Independence text as amended by the First Continental Congress.

So one of the founders said political violence is not only our right, it is our duty?

Here’s the bottom line. Political violence, like its cousin vigilante justice, is like bad breath. There are worse, much worse, alternatives. Anyone who says that political violence has no place in the United States, is not remembering their history. This country was born in political violence and I hope and pray that we never forget how and when it is appropriate to apply it. Are you listening, Laura Ingraham?

And while I’m on the subject of Fox’s favorite blonde bimbo (law degree or no law degree) she should put down her Trump cheerleader pompoms for just a few moments and ponder when political violence is, in fact, required of us. Then she should make that the focus of one of her “Ingraham Angle” sermons.

And that’s all I have to say about that.

      1. I always got a kick out of Mike’s “If you try to take our firearms we will kill you!” line.

So I kinda developed my own.

“We own something like 350 million firearms and uncounted billions of rounds of ammunition. If we were even close to being as radically bloodthirsty and prone to violence as you suggest, there wouldn’t be enough of you left to bury your dead.

Mouth open, eyes glassy and panic stricken as they start frantically looking about for the nearest exit. Just don’t expect to be invited to their next social event. Meh, you prolly weren’t going to go anyway.

Best saved up and used in those “How do I get away from this pompous simpleton without wringing his/her/its neck?” moments.

  2. Stole this comment:

    Same people:
Kimmel fired: This is outrageous! What about free speech?!
Kirk murdered: Yeah, well, he said mean things.
