Brought to You By…

I’m trying to figure out if it’s my cookies and browser history causing this or the subject matter of the videos I’m trying to access, but more and more every time I try to watch a gun influencer on YouTube, Mark Barden’s showing up first. Is this happening to any of you?

As with Manuel Oliver, as sympathetic as we may feel, his “solution” is antithetical to freedom and unacceptable, and his loss does not give him a claim against our rights.

Starting off the video with these ads undermines the presenter’s work, especially with people who may not be informed and may be otherwise receptive. So I have some questions, because I don’t know how YouTube ad policies work.

Is it intentional placement? Does the client request it? Does the YouTube account where the ad is being placed have any say? If so, do they allow it because monetization is monetization? If not, could they reject it?

Conversely, would a “gun rights” group be able to have their ads placed at the start of gungrab group videos? Has anbody ever seen that happen?

And is this a directed policy by Google/YouTube to deliberately muddle messages they want to suppress, and inject their own?

Guy gives new meaning to “Reading Rainbow”…

I guess if you smear them as book-burning Nazis, violence against women is woke.

Funny, the reading that is withheld from children.

We’re the Only Ones Unrecorded Enough

The City University of New York is letting $120,000 worth of body cameras gather dust at one Manhattan school — because they don’t want the public to see the crime and violence taking place on campus grounds… [More]

Once More Unto the Breach, Dear Friends

And just like last time, there’s no clue as to what the “violation” was, so there’s no way to avoid a recurrence. Which appears to be the plan, since doing whatever it is again can result in being booted…

I’m all ears for a better way to promote my articles than advocacy media. Because the shrinkage continues, and this and this have never produced noticeable results.

That’s literally the First Amendment this she-Nazi tried to deploy the SS against.

When I saw this last week my first thought was to do a FOIA and make her go on record– under penalty of perjury — to provide records of all the “complaints” she says she received.

Looking at Washington’s Public Records law, it looks like they need to be inspected in person, which is a showstopper for me– but not for anyone there interested in picking up the ball and running with it.

At Facebook Value

As it turns out, the Biden White House relied on foreign “disinfo” activists to pressure Facebook to censor Americans. Worse, it turns out the group supposedly targeting disinformation had their facts wrong. Facebook knew it, too. [More]

Ulterior Motives

FIREARM MARKETING BANS REALLY ABOUT ERASING NEXT GENERATION’S GUN RIGHTS [More]

Yeah, that’s a goal, but I’d say it’s really about banning speech to facilitate thought control.

It’s about tyranny.

Because real reporting is offensive, wrong-thinking is punishable, and who better to decide what we can be exposed to than Marxists with their snouts in the public trough?

Besides, they have other priorities.

That’s what happens when the prohibitionist busybody hens take over.

I juxtapose this against an email I just received from the “Society of Professional Journalists” touting their convention in Las Vegas next month, where heady matters of DSM interest will include “Diversity in Your Reporting and Newsroom” and a featured luminary will be honored for being “the first Latina sideline reporter for ‘Monday Night Football.'”

Is it really unfair to wonder how many of the attendees could pass a high school algebra class — or start a lawnmower?

You Won’t Be Needing That First Amendment, Either

Open Lawfare

The lawsuit, brought Tuesday by the nonprofit Everytown for Gun Safety and exclusively obtained by NBC News, names multiple defendants, including YouTube and Reddit, online spaces where the shooter was allegedly radicalized, as well as the retailer that sold the shooter’s gun and the manufacturer of his body armor. The suit, which also names the shooter’s parents, was filed in New York Supreme Court. [More]
