In other words, he shot himself. While teaching others.
Sounds like a Lee Paige Award finalist to me…

That’s when store owner Valerio appears in the video and can be seen trying to pistol-whip Pullatasi, who then drops to the ground having been shot. [More]
Regardless, it sure looks like he’d have been justified if the shot had been intentional. Basically, he got in trouble for trying to be merciful.
You can’t fix stupid. [Watch]
And the same people who milk “gun safety” say we’d be more vibrant and diverse if they moved here.

“You need to know about guns,” Dad had said. So, we took a thick board out back and leaned it against a tree. Dad pulled out this shiny pistol. “Here,” he said. “It’s not loaded.” I reached for the gun. With no warning, the thing went off with a huge bang and blasted a large hole in the board. I may have yelled an unpleasant word. Dad was just standing there, all calm and fatherly. “You said the gun wasn’t loaded!” I screamed. “Everyone says the gun’s not loaded,” Dad replied. [More]
What a dangerous, @$$hole thing to do to a kid.

A Tennessee mother is mourning the death of her teen daughter after police said that she accidentally shot and killed her while rummaging in her purse for her keys. [More]
It sounds like being oblivious to how things work and not taking any one of several appropriate available precautions made her a walking IED.

There’d be a lot fewer if Democrat blood dancers didn’t encourage ignorance by eliminating training, and incentivizing people who don’t know anything about guns to handle them.
SAG-AFTRA Defends Alec Baldwin: ‘An Actor’s Job Is Not to Be a Firearms Expert’ [More]
Sounds like a self-covering admission of ignorance to me…
Thise are generally the people with the strongest opinions.
You don’t have to be an expert. Just knowledgeable enough to bring a gun to a “buyback”…

With a history of personal nastiness combined with repeated demands to lay claim to the rights of his countrymen, it’s natural that the targets of Baldwin’s obsession would see the humor in his becoming victim of his own hubris. [More]
Or as Shakespeare wrote, “Hoist with his own petard…”
On-duty cop accidentally fired his gun outside Lori Lightfoot’s home: Chicago police [More]
And not just an “on duty cop.” A “veteran Chicago police officer”!
I see “The officer remains on active duty because the firearm discharge was accidental.”
So he’s keeping his gun.
Funny… if you or I had done that, not only would our names be publicized, the only way we’d be out is if we made bail. And you’d better believe there’d be a court order to surrender all weapons.
Forget it, Jake. It’s Chi-Town.

It also shows the danger of lazy journalism when a news organization asks no questions/does no independent research, and essentially copies a government press release. To paraphrase the late Paul Harvey, “And now, the rest of the story…” [More]
Another “accidental child gun death” warranting the government to issue a word of caution to the public? How do you “accidentally” shoot your child four times, and would it be too much to ask “professional journalists” to even acknowledge the unexplained disconnect?
I accessed an archived copy of a report about the bullet Alec Baldwin fired into Halyna Hutchins. The thoughts strike:
The shell casing from the spent round and the rest of the cartridges remained in the cylinder. Has anyone seen a report on whether they were tested for fingerprints to know for sure who inserted the live rounds?
And does anyone have the editing skills to insert Baldwin’s face in this?

According to witnesses, 39-year-old Larry Lawrence, who was a store employee, was in the process of placing groceries in the rear seat of a vehicle, where a dog was located. He then began to pet the dog. While occupied with the dog, a .22 rifle, also located in the rear seat of the vehicle, discharged and struck Lawrence in the chest, officials with the police department said. [More]
