Thank goodness! Now he can get back to lecturing the rest of us on “commonsense gun safety laws”!

In the absence of evidence showing deliberate misbehavior on the part of the armorer, would it be out of line to wonder how much those “new facts” cost?

Funny… every time I’ve practiced weak hand shooting it hasn’t made me forget Cooper’s Rules. Then again, I’ve never had the professional training to assess a situation dangerous enough to draw a gun on a suspect with that hand, either.

Inexcusable

Authorities said Lopez left a loaded .45 pistol in his living room when he went to bed. The following morning, officials said the 6-year-old boy found the gun and began playing with it when it went off, killing him. [More]

Tragic. Outrageous. If he’s an otherwise decent human being, he’ll suffer hell on earth for the rest of his life.

And it’s so unnecessary. We raised two boys. Rational coexistence simply isn’t that hard to attain.
