The ‘New Second Amendment’

How the NYPD, Manhattan DA are fighting radical online ghost gun manufacturers [P. 14]

I like the old one just fine, thank you.

You know, the one where the Framers envisioned guns without serial numbers for everyone…

Didn’t they even include a Preamble to the Bill of Rights to explain why, that is, “in order to prevent misconstruction or abuse of … powers”?

Ol’ Deputy Chief Nilan certainly looks the part.

  1. Maybe we’ll finally get to see the one that Chuckie, Hillary, and Bill always claimed to support.

  2. Not mentioned is that if more people had the equipment and skills to generate and read blueprints, to run a drill press and lathe, and knew how to weld, then things could get real interesting.
The technology offered by the Internet, 3D printers and injection molding may offer a lower cost of entry into the realm of weapons artificing and lighter component weight, but the metal arts offer a durability that is not yet matched by polymers.
Combine the two and you get what we see from many manufacturers such as Glock, SIG, Ruger and HK.
