  1. I invite others to search on the string “Jeff Cooper response to violence” keeping in mind that it is your responsibility to protect yourself. Like armed police forces, the Florida Legislature does not have the duty to protect you. Under the guise of measures that pretend to protect you, they have promoted an environment that may cause you harm and disable your ability to protect yourself. To enable you to protect yourself, the following must happen:
    1. Eliminate gun free zones
    2. Eliminate prohibitions on campus carry of firearms (see #1)
    3. Eliminate prohibitions on purchasing firearms for those who have achieved the age of 18 years
    4. Promote unarmed and armed self defense skills
    5. Promote advanced first aid skills
    6. Promote conflict resolution and negotiation skills
    7. Promote the carrying of arms and first aid kits
    We are all militia, remember?

More Gun Control would not have helped prevent this shooting. Enabling and promoting the opposite – a community with armed self defense skills and the needed tools would quickly extinguish this aberrant violent behavior and discourage others from emulating this behavior.

      Agreed.

Campaign promise by Trump 1.0: “I will get rid of gun-free zones on schools, and—you have to—and on military bases, My first day, it gets signed, okay? My first day. There’s no more gun-free zones.

Well, nine years later, there are still gun-free zones.
      If not now, when?
