My wife would not allow me 45 days to change my briefs.
All seriousness aside, this is not the 19th century. One doesn’t need to pull books off the shelf at the law library to do research, or to type an error free document on the old Smith-Corona.
The financial markets no longer allow 5 days for a stock trade to “settle” nor do banks need 3 days for a check to “clear.”
Time for the legal eagles to join the rest of us in the 21st century.
