I agree with the organizers that no one group should have superior rights.
I also think, since they’ve made the decision to forego their rights and infringe on the rights of others, there should be no taxpayer-funded armed presence protecting the marchers.

It’s my understanding that 10% of .01% of the population of this country are Homos, so why is that small of a margin dictating policy for an entire country, and part of that number are mentally ill.
I think it’s because some of those in position of power are Homos , and pervs!
My sources say about 4% of the population are some part of the LGBTQIAA+ (or whatever alphabet salad they’re using now) matrix, the vast majority of whom are in the ‘L’, ‘G’, ‘B’, and/or ‘Q’ sections. (And ‘Q’, IMO, is kind of a catch-all for anyone who “identifies” as not-straight but doesn’t fit neatly into one of the dozen other designations.)
The ‘T’ people — the real ones with gender dysphoria (as defined in DSM-5), not those who just “identify” as “trans” — is indeed a small percent of a small percent; it’s very rare, something like 0.01%, or about 1 in 10,000, and most of them would benefit more from mental health counseling to help cope with it than they would hormones and surgery to change genders.
But I do think you have a point about a small minority is suddenly dictating policy for everyone else, and about some powerful people possibly being “in the closet”. Why must the rest of society cater to their mental delusions? That makes as much sense as telling schizophrenics that the homicidal voices in their heads are real and they should listen to them, or that the guy on the street corner who believes he’s Jesus really is Jesus and has the divine right to “lay on hands” to everyone around him whether they want him to or not!
(It would also explain the push to include “MAPs” — “Minor-Attracted Persons”, a.k.a. pedophiles — in the group, to gain “acceptance” along with everyone else. How many people currently in power were supposedly on Epstein’s list again?)
But I honestly think the Democrats have latched onto “LGBT issues” simply because it’s another way to use political power to destabilize society, this time by attacking and undermining traditional families and gender roles. The Leftists don’t care about “LGBT issues” any more than they care about any other “minority issues” (look at how they treat black families and Jews). What they care about is hurting non-Leftists, and they will take any position and action that does that.
