  1. A lot of it involves something called a “frame of reference.”

    I’m pretty sure that Adolph Hitler didn’t grow up dreaming of being one of history’s most reviled bad actors. He probably thought he was doing what was necessary to save the German people. “The road to Hell …” and all that.

    Supposedly John Wayne said something along the lines of:

    “When you’re dead, you don’t notice that you’re dead. It’s not a problem for you, it’s a problem for the folks around you. It’s kind of the same thing if you’re stupid.”

    Cuomo and his supporters think he’s a good guy. If you’re a jerk, you don’t notice that others around you are jerks, they just seem like normal folks to you. I know a lady that thinks the residents of New York City are the finest examples the human race has ever produced. Guess where she’s from!

    And, yes, I do consider our current POTUS a jerk. He probably doesn’t agree with that. Different frame of reference I guess.
