In a statement, Geragos said: “For the last five years, Fox News has relentlessly attacked Hunter Biden and made him a caricature in order to boost ratings and for its financial gain. [More]
How do you make this weasel a bigger object of contemptuous ridicule than he consistently makes himself?
Why former President George W. Bush is winning… the post-presidency – At a time when faith in government is exceedingly low, Bush has re-earned the public’s respect [More]
On the flip side, I don’t watch this Fox News program so don’t know the name of the “conservative” black woman, but when she asserts and asks “THEY DON’T ENJOY OUR RIGHTS, THEY ARE NOT AMERICAN CITIZENS. DO WE SAY THEY ARE INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY?” the first thought that comes to mind is Sir Thomas More’s “devil himself” rejoinder from A Man for All Seasons.
“Now she’s got to sharpen her message… she’s got a month to make her case,” noted Reed, who is once again neutral in the GOP nomination after helping to steer a super PAC that was supporting former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie’s unsuccessful 2024 campaign. [More]
Right. A “Never Trumper” Vichycon Christie supporter is “neutral.”
I also see Faux News’ Paul Steinhauser made a point of throwing sand on frontrunner momentum and emphasizing “Iowa’s low-turnout Republican presidential caucuses” and “the former president’s nearly twelve point margin over Haley was below what most of the final public opinion surveys conducted ahead of the primary had suggested.”
With “real reporter” layoffs becoming a thing, I guess he’s trying to stay competitive with AI…
A supposed “journalist” (and Emmy winner!) from the land made infamous by its corrupt government and bloodthirsty drug cartels, “reporting” for a multinational media giant headquartered in Mexico, another corrupt country overrun by monstrously homicidal drug kingpins, asserts that “gun violence” is “unique to the United States” and not one co-moderator and not one candidate called her delusional on it and chastised her for exploiting the event with transparent propagandizing? [More]
¿Cómo se Dice “Gaslighting” en Español?” And why didn’t a single Republican candidate object and refute the lie?
Last month Padden, now 74 and retired, joined with a nonprofit group called the Media and Democracy Project (MAP) to urge the Federal Communications Commission to deny Fox’s renewal of its license to operate one of its largest stations, WTXF in Philadelphia, known as Fox29. Padden and MAP argue that Fox lacks the “character” required by the FCC to be a license holder, because of post-election misinformation spread by another company entity: Fox News.
“Fox has undermined our democracy and has radicalized a segment of our population by presenting knowingly false narratives about the legitimacy of the 2020 election,” Padden wrote in a statement supporting MAP’s petition, which accuses Fox of “intentional, knowing news distortion.” [More]
I’m no Faux News loyalist, but anyone who doesn’t see what evil monsters those behind this are is oblivious to their own proximity to the lime pit when they’re no longer useful.
Until this woman explains that she understands why what she did was wrong and apologizes for it, I don’t see any reason to view her as anything but a phony media opportunist saying whatever she thinks the crowd will go for.
I’m kind of wondering if this is willful action to implode “conservative” influencers by embedding enemies inside the gates, and who Number Three will be.
Women are buying more guns, though studies suggest self-defense use is rare… A Harvard University analysis found people defended themselves with a gun in less than 1% of crimes from 2007 to 2011. More recently, a Stanford University study of 17.6 million Californians found that people who lived with handgun owners but did not own a gun themselves died by homicide more than twice as often as their gun-free neighbors. If what they say is true, NRA families must be self-destructing at an astonishing rate.
Angie Craig’s office criticizes Fox News after receiving threatening messages over DC attack [More]
There’s a difference between sentiments and threats. As there are severe laws against real ones and we’re not told a crime has been committed, the default here is she’s whining and playing the victim for the cameras.
Rivera, a gun owner, was illustrating that the Second Amendment didn’t cover modern firearms capable of mass killings when the amendment was ratified in 1791. And that AR-15-style rifles go far beyond self-defense. [More]
Ah, the long-debunked “The Founders could have never imagined” bullsh!+.
I recall writing an Examiner article years back where a guy was prosecuted for having a muzzleloader in New York City. I can’t find it now and don’t recall the details, but it would be funny if Geraldo incriminated himself.
How he got it in the studio is another question.
And figures, HuffPo would think he won the argument.
