One Big Ugly Amendment

FPC Raises Alarm on 1984-Style Amendment to Big Beautiful Bill…Section 203 of Subtitle B adds a provision that those seeking a preliminary injunction or temporary restraining order against a federal law, petitioners must post a bond “in an amount proper to pay the costs and damages sustained by the Federal Government.” [More]

So… which Republicans are championing its removal– and where did it come from in the first place?

The French Connection

Bride, 27, dead and child among the injured after group gunned down at wedding party in France… ‘We’re close to towns, I won’t name them, where unfortunately, we’ve already seen this kind of thing before. [More]

That, and the groom was a known criminal…

What are they hiding, aside from the fact that “gun control” doesn’t stop criminals, and why?

Doing the Crimes Americans Won’t Do

According to the United States Attorney’s Office of the Western District of Missouri, 13 individuals were indicted for conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and cocaine along with illegal possession of machine guns. The statement said ten of these individuals are Mexican Nationals… [More]

So, who should be suing whom…?

Note anti-gun Democrats and their judges fight deportation attempts tooth and nail.

The Blame Game

In short, Boelter is just a wacko. His letter is a testament to his fractured mind, not a manifesto of political grievance. The media’s rush to blame conservatives and the governor’s passive complicity in allowing false narratives to spread are failures that demand scrutiny. The truth matters, and in this case, it exposes a grotesque distortion of reality by those eager to score political points amid a horrific crime. [More]

What’d I say?

Not that reality stops other wackos.

A Bitter Pill

Abortions Accessed Through Telemedicine Are Growing Despite Legal Challenges [More]

So much for the accusation that the “right” has been taken away. Just don’t look for Red State FFLS to expand on the concept and ship banned magazines, etc. to Blue States.

I confess to being torn: On the one hand, it’s gruesome premeditated murder of human beings. On the other hand, it’s overwhelmingly Democrats culling their next generations, with all that implies.

Good Guy with a Gun

Security guard kills Michigan church gunman, preventing ‘large-scale mass shooting’: Police [More]

It’s nice the church took proactive steps to protect it’s “flock,” but most of them fit that description, dependent on someone else to save them. Sheepdogs are hardly what the Founders had in mind and I’ve never liked that analogy.

Note that not one “commonsense gun safety law” group would have preferred the congregants to be armed instead of being slaughtered like sheep, which would have given them gallons of fresh blood to dance in.

I wonder how soon it will be until Brian Browning appears over at the “Gun Violence Memorial“?

A thwarted blood dancer tries to hide his disappointment while demanding even more vulnerability. Give the guy credit, though: He’s managed to be both a foreign enemy AND a domestic enemy.

Iran orders closure of Strait of Hormuz — putting one-fifth of world’s oil supply at risk [More]

And Trump promises more if they retaliate.

So much for “We’re just going to take out the nukes, honest.”

Did someone way “regime change“?

Let’s see, how do they retaliate?

We strike military targets. They target civilians.

Let’s see what happens to that “increasing appetite” when their people here start doing that. Speaking of which, file this under “WTF?”

I want the Constitution observed. Since this affects me and mine, I want my representatives to weigh in. Calling someone who agrees with that a “pathetic loser” is ad hominem, a logical fallacy. It does not speak well to position or character.

Oh, and I’d like to see the evidence.

Still, we would be remiss if we didn’t acknowledge how we got to this point.

Something About Prohibitionists

“Last night, I was seated first and had a glass of wine,” the woman wrote. Soon after, she was joined by two adults and three children who were seated at her table. The mother of that family turned to the woman and said, “We do not wish to expose our children to women drinking alcohol.” [More]

Those poor kids haven’t got a chance.

I can see the red “Moms Demand” t-shirt now.

Just Here for the Ratio

Anybody see them object to this by one of theirs?
