If it was him, then it wasn’t you and it wasn’t me. And it certainly wasn’t Donald Trump.
“Ultimately, I have decided to not run in this upcoming election so the party can focus on what really matters. I need to do this work with Leaders We Deserve, and it is going to remain my number one mission to build the strongest party possible,” he added. [More]
I wonder what the DNC threatened and then offered to get him to go quietly.

It sounds like they had cause to engage, BUT…
We know the victim’s name. We know the “intended target’s” name (and what a leftist prize he’s turned out to be– don’t be surprised to find out he did it as a way to spur more “gun control”). But all we know from this report about the shooter is he was wearing a yellow vest.
250 years. One Army. Minutemen. Doughboys. Rangers. Riflemen. Different uniforms. Same heart. They crossed rivers, climbed mountains, held ground. Their legacy isn’t a monument. It’s a challenge. All Soldier historical posts are consolidated here for easy browsing. [More]
Yes, Saturday was for more than the Regicide Rally. These are very good short write-ups.
You gotta wonder what these guys would have made of Emma.

And by “Trump,” she means the millions 0f Americans who support his agenda.

Don’t wait for Everytown or the Democrats to disavow her, because citizen disarmament never was about “commonsense gun safety.”
Typical: She deleted her X account. On Facebook, she makes excuses, evades accountability for inciting violence, and won’t let us comment. What a coward. She knew exactly what she was posting (we’ll see if she deletes that from her BlueSky account)

She was using her title so she wasn’t posting as a private individual. Looks like Julie doesn’t believe in the First Amendment any more than she does the Second.

And it looks like her deputy’s bomb threat was just a continuation of her policies.
How is it that anyone is really stupid enough to believe it’s about “commonsense gun safety“?

With this dolt in charge of law enforcement, no wonder the city of my birth continues to devolve into $#!+holedom.
That said, I’m not sure about how true that “enemy of my enemy” assertion is…

In a big win for sportsmen and working families, the Pennsylvania House of Representatives has passed a bill to fully repeal the state’s long-standing ban on Sunday hunting. House Bill 1431, introduced by Rep. Mandy Steele (D-Allegheny), cleared the chamber in a strong bipartisan vote of 131-72 and now heads to the Senate. [More]
Everytown for Gun Safety Action Fund is also announcing new endorsements for candidates in key battleground legislative seats:… Mandy Steele, State Representative, District 33…
Throw the Fudds a bone and they’ll happily throw the rest of us under the bus.
Hey, you don’t need an AR-15 to hunt deer…
Also endorsed by AFL-CIO… There’s a shocker.

I don’t normally post here on weekends, but I just got back from our local “No Kings” Regicide Rally, and wanted to share some pictures.
They were packed like this on the whole East side of Main from Aurora Street to the 303, and in the green area on the South/West side. Traffic was backed up in all directions probably around a quarter mile.
They were “mostly peaceful,” with some cars honking and the crowd cheering when they did, although one of the yellow signs in the photo on the right alluded to the French Revolution. I tried to get a better shot of it but was unable to get closer before the sign holder moved on.
The size of the crowd surprised me– I’d estimate around 1,000. So did the age– most looked old enough to know better.
They were basically all white and not hurting economically, and my takeaway is these are some of the most privileged people on the planet and they want to give it all away. They remind me of nothing so much as the Israelites in Exodus, delivered from slavery and sustained by undeniable miracles, who, the second Moses turns his back, start fashioning a Golden Calf to worship instead.
I wonder how many of them could define “fascism,” but my purpose in going was to assess, not to engage in debate.
If Republicans blow the mid-terms, things are going to get real interesting.
It won’t even take you that long.
Have you contacted your Senators, assuming they’re not safe in Blue territory and it’s not a complete waste of your time?
I prefer to do it this way rather than call because it lets them know others are watching.
