We’re the Only Ones Delayed Responding Enough

The 27-year-old Massachusetts man was arrested Tuesday after Capitol police officers found him leaving the Library of Congress and walking toward his car, police said in a news release. Officers found a handgun concealed in his waistband, police said. [More]

That’s after they let him in following electronic and hand screening, and saw he conducted himself peaceably. Still, there’s a reason we call them the “Only Ones.”

And “No harm no foul” doesn’t apply when you’ve got face to save.

We’re the Only Ones Alienating Enough

The memo, sent by acting Homeland Security Secretary Benjamine Huffman, says DHS is granting immigration-enforcement authority to several agencies at the Justice Department, including the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the U.S. Marshals Service. A Self-Created Dilemma

Despite what the FBI has become today, Joe Biden should never have allowed their murderer, Leonard Peltier, to walk out of a prison’s front gate a free man. [More]

Way to pay ’em back for all the election interference help!

I’m inclined to trust Lee Williams’ judgment because I’ve found him to be the best pure 2A reporter out there. That said, I understand the comments following his article about not trusting a thing the FBI says, and that’s on them. And in reality, it’s not what the FBI has become today– before Ruby Ridge and Waco three decades past, they were a reflection of Hoover from the inception, and we’ve seen how he regarded our rights:

Forgotten Memo Shows Gun-grabbing Built into FBI’s DNA

Suicide Squad

San Antonio police have identified a man accused of shooting seven police officers in Stone Oak during a response to a suicide in progress call…Poulos was out on bond for weekend arrest. Court records show Poulos was arrested on Saturday, Jan. 18, and charged four times. [More]

What a confusingly written story.

In any case, it sounds like they knew he couldn’t be trusted. That he got a gun anyway is all the validation that observation needs.

How the hell did he get seven of them if they knew?

Talking Out of Both Sides of His Mouth… Again

H-1Bs not just for tech workers but for Maître d’s and waiters? Why not hotel maids, too, and they can all join the Democrat-enabling, communist sympathizing anti-gun SEIU as they fast track on the “pathway to citizenship“?

While everyone is rightfully cheering action at the border and going after dangerous hombres, that doesn’t mean we have to turn a blind eye and give him a pass on being indistinguishable from Grover Norquist and Michael Bloomberg

All the while giving cover to Democrat education establishment failures.

Would I rather have Kamala? F— any damned brainwashed apologist who would ask that stupid question.

I’d rather have what MAGA believed it was voting for. Anyone who objects is no different from the willfully ignorant sycophants praising the emperor’s new clothes.

And nope. Still nothing on 2A.

Rifling Through a Gun Bill

Gun Owners of America endorsed Representative Tracey Mann’s “Reining In Federal Licensing Enforcement Act” …The RIFLE Act would protect Federal Firearm Licensees (FFLs) from being forced out of business by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives’ (ATF) overreaching directives. [More]

Here’s the bill.

I thought ATF announced they were ending zero tolerance voluntarily, but this would make it mandatory and besides, who believes them?

I don’t see it on GovTrack yet, but they give his recently introduced “H.R. 624: To reform the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives” a “1% chance of being enacted.”

There’s still one question no one evidently thinks we’re ready to ask:

Licensing…?

Commie Sense Gun Laws

Rep. Kristine Reeves, D-Federal Way, proposed House Bill 1504… individuals would have to obtain a firearm liability insurance policy or bond before purchasing or possessing the weapon…the liability policy or bond must cover at least $25,000 of coverage per incident [and] would also require firearm range operators to obtain general liability insurance with at least $1 million of coverage per incident. If an individual owns more than 25 firearms, they would qualify as a self-insurer by obtaining a certificate from the state…“establishing that the person named therein has deposited with the department $25,000.” [More]

This will not survive Bruen. What I’m wondering is, will Bondi ever direct Justice to defend the law, and if not why not?

And no. Stop with the chronic defeatism.

Say they succeed: Will California Republicans betray principled voters again like they did with Arnhole, or give them — including gun owners– a candidate who makes a dime’s worth of difference?
