This bill would, beginning on March 1, 2025, additionally require the register or record to include the acknowledgment by the purchaser or transferee that they have, within the past 30 days, confirmed possession of every firearm that they own or possess.
Well, there actually is a way to get around it, but it comes with a risk. And I do still have mine, and it’s safe from them.
That post, incidentally, elicited all kinds of vitriol from bloviating anonymous keyboard warriors on AR15.com, including comments like “Reads like GOA bullshit. I wish there was a way to take personal revenge on such pieces of garbage, but I suspect anyone who would lower themselves like this does not have the capacity to achieve genuine happiness. Still, I like to end such calls telling them they should be ashamed of themselves and I hope their boss beats them for failing.
