I ran across this post from five years ago and it struck me as ironic that five years before that, when Mike Vanderboegh and I and a core of other activists were advocating for this, the concept was being put down by some “establishment” gun groups as extremists making us all look bad. (There was an article I wanted to link to but I can’t find it right now.)
