The Monster Makers

Throughout history, excess wealth has been used to salve society’s problems, funding hospitals, food banks, and building libraries to develop minds and cathedrals to lift the spirits. But increasingly, the charitable urge has shifted away from such worthy causes and, increasingly, reflects a distinct progressive agenda that seeks, ultimately, to transform lives through the expansion of state power. [More]

A lot of people will have preceded them before the rope-selling “capitalists” get theirs. The creation becoming uncontrollable and turning on the Creator seems to be a recurring theme. We’ve seen it happen with our own government and there are no indications anything stands in the way of mass bloodthirsty madness but those who will not go gentle into that good night.

Or are we supposed to be special?

Sounds Like They’ve Decided on a Verdict

73-Year-Old Arizona Rancher Charged with First-Degree Murder For Fatally Shooting Illegal Alien on His Property – Held on $1 Million Bond [More]

If “investigators were still trying to clarify the circumstances surrounding the incident, as well as establish a motive,” how can he be charged with anything?

I wonder if he knows enough to not say anything without a lawyer. Talking to the media about his wife makes me wonder.

From the Same People Who Claim Guns* Don’t Protect

Democrats claim walls don’t work and are racist, except when they think they need them. Ahead of Biden’s state of the union address on Tuesday night, the fence has gone back up at the Capitol Building. The same fencing Democrat put up after J6. [More]

I can’t find it now, but years ago I blue-skyed the premise for a television movie script titled State of the Union in which “terrorists” were going to destroy the Capitol with everybody who was anybody in the three branches and military inside (this was long before Designated Survivor). It was going to segue back and forth between investigators finding things out and perpetrators advancing as the climax approached.

There were two alternate endings, one where they succeeded and one where they were stopped, and it was up to the viewing audience during the final commercial break to call the corresponding toll-free number (yeah, this was before widespread internet) to “vote” on who “won.” I figured it would be kind of an interesting commentary on public sentiment with government where nothing got hurt except ruling class feelings of arrogance and invulnerability.

I didn’t have the juice to make it happen then and I don’t now. Still, if anybody who does wants to, I’d love to help.

* I mean in private hands, of course, for those who feel compelled to remind me that guns are inanimate objects.

UPDATE

Looking at this in retrospect, if anybody ever tried making this now, I fear the motive would be to smear “seditious conspirators,” to show overwhelming support for our Democrat leaders, and to ID everyone who voted “wrong” for special scrutiny.

Just to Be Clear

Just to be clear, there is no such thing as “constitutional carry”. The constitution didn’t give anyone the right to carry guns publicly without permits, background checks, or training. This term was fabricated by the gun lobby to push for its any guns to anyone everywhere agenda. [More]

Just to be clear, the Constitution (capitalized) does not “give” rights. That deception was fabricated by the lying citizen disarmament lobby to swindle the ignorant.

UPDATE

And just to be clear, they’re a self-admitted hate group:

For some reason, I’m reminded of Harvey Weinstein.

It’s funny, how people who would have literally done anything for the power player to get a job can’t turn on him fast enough when the incentives change.

There must be a lot of suppressed frustrated hatred in that business from people trained to wear a smile.

Et Tu, Cabelas?

Cabela’s in Indiana not selling standard capacity mags to IL residents [More]

They ID customers to buy magazines? What law?

They just don’t want to get sued? Maybe volunteering to be a proxy for the grabbers will end up costing them more than that.

And what about Bass Pro Shops?

I’m trying to recall from my earlier career if I’ve ever met a corporate risk management director who didn’t need to have their bowels unblocked.

Club for Growth Distances Itself Further From Trump [More]

Hey, cheap labor über alles, right, rope-selling capitalists? And to be clear– this is not about the avatar. It’s about the people who believed in what he said he stood for.

Good thing this has nothing to do with that “single issue”. And I have that on good authority.

The commies love having useful idiot bourgeoisieuntil they’re no longer needed.

This is It?

Sarah Beth Clendaniel, 34, has been charged with conspiring with a neo-Nazi leader in Florida, Brandon Clint Russell, 27, who authorities say encouraged attacks that would cause a “cascading failure” of the energy grid. [More]

These two low-hanging fruit losers are the best examples of the “right-wing extremist”greatest threat Chris Wray and Merrick Garland tell us are the bane of the Republic…?

Funny thing about that
