The Cognitive Dissonance: It Burns

Drew Barrymore was blasted on Twitter for literally kneeling “to a man” during an interview with noted trans TikTok celebrity Dylan Mulvaney. [More]

People expect logical consistency from someone with “man mountain bodyguards” who calls DGUs by non-elites “cowardly,” and then wears gun bling as a fashion statement?

You have to wonder what kind of idiot woman is influenced by this crap to cancel your vote, but I think we’ve already established that.

Daddy Issues Disarmament

With President Biden announcing new executive orders on guns Tuesday, CNN Newsroom invited Jennifer Mascia, senior writer for The Trace (an anti-gun rights publication), to share her dubious study. According to Mascia, a CNN contributor, gun manufacturers were directly in control of gun deaths in America as she suggested “when gunmakers ramped up production, gun deaths rose.” Of course, CNN gushed for this purported evidence to back their anti-gun rights agenda. [More]

And Meadow Sopran… uh, I mean Jennifer, of course, wants you disarmed in case homicidal thugs like Daddy come calling.

As a side issue, Google is really, really suppressing and silencing my voice. It does not list that article, making it impossible to find unless you know about it. And a “Google News” search, which used to return thousands of hits including my AmmoLand stuff, now only results in a handful of hits.

Pioneers! O Pioneers!

Former Colorado Rep. Pat Schroeder, pioneer for women’s rights, dies [More]

And here’s Pat encouraging a rope-selling capitalist to undermine those rights.

Just about every article I’ve seen calls her a “pioneer.” I don’t see a coonskin cap, so I’m assuming they mean this kind

Lawmaker’s ‘Common Sense Gun Reforms’ are Both Senseless and Deceptive

She’s established up front she has power. She spends the rest of her screed demonstrating she does not have the wisdom or integrity to wield it responsibly. [More]

Brought to you by stupid voters engaged in chronic citizenship malpractice…

A Public/Private Partnership

The firearm industry worked with Congress to update the statutory definition of “in the business”… The firearm industry was the progenitor of the point-of-sale instant background check … The firearm industry has been on the leading edge to improve the quality of FBI’s NICS … NSSF supports increasing the submission of disqualifying records to FBI NICS … NSSF welcomes the Biden administration’s renewed attention to safe storage of firearms in the home … NSSF has not opposed the use of emergency risk protection orders, or so-called “red flag” laws … President Biden’s demand to close “the dating violence restraining order loophole” … was not opposed by the firearm industry … NSSF does not oppose the reauthorization of the Undetectable Firearms Act … The Undetectable Firearms Act as it is currently written should be made permanent … [More]

Aaron Zelman had a term for such collaborators.

An Age-Old Question

The Second Amendment Foundation (SAF) and its partners in a federal lawsuit challenging the prohibition of handgun sales to young adults have filed an appellant’s brief with the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans. The case is known as Reese v. ATF. [More]

I dunno… let ’em have guns and pretty soon they could be winning medals

Too Much of Something

As I have said before, we have too many damn guns in this community. [More]

Actually, the community has too many damn denizens who can’t be trusted with them.

Like this moron:

Officers ran after Johnson and managed to bring him into custody. According to police, a firearm was recovered with an extended magazine capable of holding 30 rounds. Johnson was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. shooting into an occupied dwelling, using a firearm in the commission of a felony and carrying a firearm with a magazine that holds more than 20 rounds.

I wonder how Dawn Savery votes.

Thanks for the Highly-Publicized Concessions!

He says it’s crucial to have laws to keep guns out of the hands of individuals who aren’t able to handle them responsibly… He also says it’s legitimate and “reasonable” to question which types of firearms, accessories and ammunition should be in wide circulation, particularly high-capacity magazines. [More]

The first is an impossibility unless they are in custody, which requires full due process, and the second is typical Fuddspeak.

It’s not about hunting or “sportsmen” or hobbies. It’s about freedom.

And, of course, the piece ends with misdirecting Bloomberg propaganda that effectively undermines every attempt the guy has made to appear reasonable. If the media approaches you for an interview and you think they’re going to give you a fair shake, think again. They’re looking to use you.

The attacks from all directions never stop. So neither can we.

Welcome to the Party, Pal

I like Mark and he’s certainly on our side, and correct about his concern. But this is way late to come to the table with the concern compared to the warnings David Codrea and I have both laid out for years now. [More]

By saying he hasn’t taken a position, he’s hedging his bets and protecting himself from being lumped in with us “xenophobes” and “haters.
