Going Through the Hoops

Annual basketball tournament in Lorain finds solution to gun violence [More]

“Real reporters” say this $#!+ and anyone dumb enough to rely on them to be informed just swallows it without question. Then again, Ariel Janel probably believes it, too.

I guess Anthony and Emily didn’t play b-ball.

What’s Willie’s excuse?

Happy Juneteenth, everybody!

The French Connection

Bride, 27, dead and child among the injured after group gunned down at wedding party in France… ‘We’re close to towns, I won’t name them, where unfortunately, we’ve already seen this kind of thing before. [More]

That, and the groom was a known criminal…

What are they hiding, aside from the fact that “gun control” doesn’t stop criminals, and why?

Doing the Crimes Americans Won’t Do

According to the United States Attorney’s Office of the Western District of Missouri, 13 individuals were indicted for conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and cocaine along with illegal possession of machine guns. The statement said ten of these individuals are Mexican Nationals… [More]

So, who should be suing whom…?

Note anti-gun Democrats and their judges fight deportation attempts tooth and nail.

The Blame Game

In short, Boelter is just a wacko. His letter is a testament to his fractured mind, not a manifesto of political grievance. The media’s rush to blame conservatives and the governor’s passive complicity in allowing false narratives to spread are failures that demand scrutiny. The truth matters, and in this case, it exposes a grotesque distortion of reality by those eager to score political points amid a horrific crime. [More]

What’d I say?

Not that reality stops other wackos.

Good Guy with a Gun

Security guard kills Michigan church gunman, preventing ‘large-scale mass shooting’: Police [More]

It’s nice the church took proactive steps to protect it’s “flock,” but most of them fit that description, dependent on someone else to save them. Sheepdogs are hardly what the Founders had in mind and I’ve never liked that analogy.

Note that not one “commonsense gun safety law” group would have preferred the congregants to be armed instead of being slaughtered like sheep, which would have given them gallons of fresh blood to dance in.

I wonder how soon it will be until Brian Browning appears over at the “Gun Violence Memorial“?

Related UPDATE

A thwarted blood dancer tries to hide his disappointment while demanding even more vulnerability. Give the guy credit, though: He’s managed to be both a foreign enemy AND a domestic enemy.

Today’s Low-Hanging Fruit Report

Federal agents thwart man’s explosive alleged plot against officers during LA riots – Store employees alerted authorities after suspect allegedly requested ‘largest explosives available’ to use against law enforcement [More]

So the headline really ought to be “Store employees thwart self-incriminating moron’s…”

Note he had to go to New Mexico because California bans all but so-called “safe and sane” fireworks, the kind that whistle and sparkle, but don’t fly or explode.

As with guns, the Democrat “solution” is to ban them everywhere.

Food Fight!

Court documents said the incident happened in July last year in the 1200 block of Hampton Avenue, located in the Clayton-Tamm, where 60-year-old Reginald Wright became upset with employees that his food did not match the photos that were presented on the menu. [More]

I remember I had the same complaint once. Not being self-entitled, this is how I handled it:

Speaking of photos, where’s one of Reginald?

FAFO

An unidentified man died at the scene after allegedly trying to rob an off-duty officer’s property in Weatherford, Texas, and being shot dead by that officer. [More]

Sounds like a happy ending.

I didn’t give this an “Only Ones” title because I’m presuming in Texas an ordinary armed citizen could do the same.

The again, I’m assuming the level of investigation into what happened would be the same.

Sometimes All You Can Do is Infer

There is something truly bizarre about these Minnesota Democrat shootings The cops weren’t supposed to show up while the assassin was at Melissa Hortman’s home It made the shooter rush out and now it seems like they’re cleaning up the crime scene to frame it as something different Just bizarre [More]

Not another “conspiracy nut“…

God, I hope they turn out to be illegal aliens that ICE is looking for to deport.

Ha! My stupid spellcheck highlighted that saying “probably offensive language.”

Dumb @$$ woke programmers…

Hey, do you think this may have contributed to all the fires of late? Be karma if it did, and if it turns out authorities know and aren’t saying.

Sorry. If we’re going to be “conspiracy nuts,” we may as well be good ones.

We’re the Fauxnly Ones Sobering Enough

Man accused of impersonating officer to stop drunk driver in Lincoln [More]

It’s insidious, because we’re conditioned to submitting to authority as a survival strategy, but as we just saw with that psychopathic freak in Minnesota, doing so can have lethal consequences.

That’s why when I do these posts I caution that the day may come when we may need an “I did not believe they were real cops” defense to justify resistance, and it wouldn’t hurt to be able to document such fears are not unfounded.
