Blame the Tools

According to court records, Johnson was in the process of being evicted from the Loring Towers on East Grand Street. Court documents allege a pattern of behavior from Johnson, ranging from engaging in loud arguments with others, walking around the premises with a firearm openly displayed, and making statements to neighbors that he would kill someone. So, in other words, it’s the gun’s fault.

Brown releases review on mass shooting, action plan; says it’s unlikely it could have been prevented [More]

Not without anybody able to shoot back it couldn’t have been…

Unfortunately, proximate cause, tort claims immunities for government schools, and sensitive places doctrine mean lawsuits for damages attributable to forced disarmament aren’t likely to go anywhere.

The Cognitive Dissonance…It Burns

Tucson Mayor Regina Romero and former Rep. Gabrielle Giffords are pushing for “sensible” state gun regulations and more funding for violence prevention, days after a mass shooting left 10 injured, including the suspected gunman. [More]

Notice they don’t specify which gun “regulation” would work…?

And great “real reporting” there, Mia Kortright. Not only did you have no opposing view from people who know better, you didn’t even reference your own paper’s report admitting:

Paul Ingram/TucsonSentinel.com

The alleged gunman who wounded nine in Tucson last weekend was put on probation under a plea deal for a 2024 shooting incident because prosecutors “lost contact with the victim”…

So, the Giffords report is naked propaganda put together by an idiot who probably considers herself a “reporter.”

Authorized Journalists, Fourth Estate Fifth Columnists, the DSM, or just plain Lügenpresse… is it any wonder we love them so?

The Old In-N-Out

Jordan Salinas hailed as Hero after opened fire on Twin Falls In-N-Out gunman, tried to stop shooting that left 3 dead, 7 wounded… Law enforcement has not yet issued an official statement detailing his role in the incident or whether he fired the shots that ultimately stopped the suspect. [More]

Well, he wasn’t killing anybody else while occupied with Salinas, was he? If “the suspected shooter died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound,” what led him to believe it was over for him? Any other wounds?

It takes a lot of courage to go up against a rifle with a pistol.

I’m sure all the grabbers calling for more citizen disarmament would prefer no armed resistance — a higher body count always gives them more blood to dance in.

What’s that about the Seattle Center’s Campus Rules…?

It is Prohibited to… Possess or display a firearm on the campus, unless permitted by applicable law.

Jeez, you’d think by now we’d know more about the suspects than just a “young person” with perhaps an unknown accomplice… I wonder if online tracks are being “managed” before we’re allowed to know anything.

Especially since Democrat Whip Katherine Clark evidently knows enough to declare more citizen disarmament to be the answer…

And shocker of shockers:

He was charged in 2003 and 2004 for unlawfully carrying a weapon and unlawful possession of a prohibited weapon, but both cases appear to have been dismissed as part of a plea. He also pleaded no contest to a domestic violence charge in 2008 that was later dismissed.

So I am forced to agree with Giffords for once:

This shouldn’t be normal. Texans deserve better.

If Only They’d Disarmed YOU

So… the state knew he couldn’t be trusted with a gun…?

The gun-grabbers have been mysteriously silent with new demands from this on their X accounts. They know the only answer they could give to what laws could have prevented this would require them to admit the end plan.
