Cops responding to the Uvalde, Texas, school shooting ran away from gunshots while 19 children and two teachers were left to die in their classrooms… [More]
I guess turning your back on the armed crazy and skedaddling to save your own precious hindquarters are time-honored tactics:

On the bright side, these are the guys they’ll send to confiscate the “20 million AR-15 style rifles.”

A new state law in Arizona will soon make it illegal for people to film a police officer from 8 feet or closer without the officer’s permission … As part of the law, an officer can also stop someone from filming on private property, even if the person has the owner’s consent. [More]
See, that to me is more objectionable than the eight-foot permission rule, which I’m wondering why that wouldn’t apply to all people, not just “Only Ones.”
My rationale here is I don’t want someone I don’t know getting up into my personal space and can recall a time I stuck a stiff arm out with an extended hand signaling “Stop,” and warned a deranged-looking transient to back up. If he’d kept approaching I intended to treat that as a physical attack and respond accordingly.
On the other hand, if I’m in the driver’s seat and one of Canton PD’s attack dogs is screaming through the window like a mouth-foaming maniac at me, that phone is going to be on “Record.” I guess a lot of it depends on circumstances, which is why one-size-fits-all is not a solution.

John Adams has left the building.
That’s systemic racism right there– if like me, you consider collectivist policies resulting in generations like this to be racist.
Both men are only charged with possession of a firearm as a non-U.S. citizens — but nothing related to plotting a mass shooting. [More]
Sounds like the perfect analogy for all “gun control” laws…
Now that the “Only Ones” narrative appears to be unraveling, is it out of line to hope nobody hangs himself?

And yeah, I get a Pinkley vibe envisioning a real boarding.
Let’s hope they aren’t reserved for the military and the “Only Ones.”
If you want to bring the costs down and make these things pay for themselves beyond limited and expensive tactical applications, start thinking of parallels to the skateboarding market with extreme competitions and the like.
Why did Independence Day event at Dogwood Dell go on as planned? Stoney, experts weigh in [More]
You incompetents got lucky when a citizen had to alert you to a situation ultimately created by government design in the first place.
UPDATE
The Richmond Police Department has refused to share crucial evidence to verify its claim that a mass shooting was planned on Independence Day. The arrests made in connection to the reported plot have turned into an international incident. [More]
I think it would be hysterical if the anonymous “hero snitch” turned out to be an “Only One” who wanted to fast-track his way around a warrant.

Some Shortcomings of Open Carry [More]
He makes some good points.
So do some of his critics. The angry and rude hostility that comes out in some of the responses though, when people believe they are anonymous and therefore not accountable, makes me wonder how many behave like that face-to-face.
For the record: I have written to Mike DeWine and the two governors before him in my state, Ohio, to get the “Only Ones” trained to stop threatening and assaulting open carriers. But I don’t personally open carry for the same reason I won’t rack a shotgun slide to “scare away” an intruder.
Knox County deputy accidentally shoots partner during dog attack [More]
So would it be wrong to assume that by missing the dog and having it later taken away by animal control that maybe it wasn’t all that serious about attacking? I guess I’m wondering if there are any bite marks in addition to the gunshot wound…

A U.S. appeals court sided with the Kansas district court in denying Officer Rapp qualified immunity in Finch’s death The court said a reasonable jury could believe Finch was unarmed and unthreatening when Rapp fired the shot that killed him. [More]

The guy is coming from an “Only Ones” mindset, so it figures that would be his top concern.
Even more objectionable in the long run: Doing this in all such cases removes a major source of information with context from being investigated, forcing us to rely on an official government narrative shaped by what it wants us to know and doesn’t want us to know for reasons it won’t share because they conflict with the tightening of the grip.

Philadelphia shooting: Democrat mayor rips Second Amendment, says only the police should have guns – Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney said the US should be more like Canada [More]
Because the “Only Ones” have proven over the years just how right he is, right?
I mean, Jim Kenney said it, I believe it, that settles it.
Just what the hell was it this subversive swore an oath to when he assumed office?
As for being like Canada, armed citizens refusing to bend to tyrants were the “only ones” who kept that from happening or we would have been.
