Arms Race Realities

Black Gun Owners React to Supreme Court’s Concealed Carry Decision [More]

MSN takes a page out of the race hustler playbook to try to make it sound like the problem is with white gun owners.

Funny how they don’t have a designated “Editorial” section and stick crap like this under “News.” You’d think if it actually were, there’d be an unbiased analysis on why some things are happening “disproportionately.”

Blacks Discriminated against on Guns, But Not by Rights Advocates

The slander that “conservative” gun owners are racist and want to deny rights to minorities is an old, tired talking point that’s been proven false many times over the years. [More]

The violence monopolists project their own pathetic, hate-filled paranoia on those who advocate the full exercise of rights by all peaceable people.

A Black and White Issue

News audiences are clearly meant to associate white pro-gun protesters with a dangerous and probably organized national race-hatred movement, while black pro-gun protesters either don’t exist or are a fringe movement not worth covering. [More]

Well, there are certain requirements if you want to be a “real reporter,” and if you can’t parrot a narrative and keep quiet about what’s not, you have no place in the business.

The Real Crime

A man who shot and killed a passenger on a San Francisco subway commuter train will be charged with gun crimes but not homicide in what was “clearly” a case of self-defense after he was attacked with a knife, his attorney said Monday. [More]

When having the means of self-defense is illegal, the law is criminal. I think that’s why they’re reducing the charges to misdemeanors because they know that under Bruen standards, felony charges would result in a high-profile challenge and community anger over racist standards.

Chinese Puzzle

A Chinese University of Wisconsin-Madison PhD student was attacked and roughed up by what appear to be four minority locals early last week — the third such assault in the last two weeks — but, at least so far, authorities say it’s not a hate crime. [More]

Let’s play “Musical Races” and see if they hold to that story.

Great Expectations

In a long Twitter thread on Thursday, a Marquette University assistant professor of journalism suggested young reporters may fabricate stories because newspaper journalism standards are too high and because minority reporters might feel racism on the job. [More]

So it’s OK for minorities to be corrupt and incompetent in whatever job they undertake because “white supremacy”…? Matter of fact, that calls for hiring and promotion preferences!

No racism there.

Messin’ with Texas

“No person may purchase a pistol unless said purchaser has secured from a Justice of Peace, County Judge, or District Judge in the county of his or her residence a certificate of good character,” said the law, which was enacted in 1931. [More]

That wasn’t one of those laws enacted to keep minorities disarmed that “progressives” think they’ve found a “Gotcha!” with, was it? Because if they like that one, they’ll love this!

And did anyone ever challenge its constitutionality on Second Amendment grounds?

What She Really Means

AOC worries Senate gun bill fails to address ‘violent misogyny and white supremacy’ – She’s worried about ‘criminalization of teens in communities like mine’ [More]

That’s shorthand for she and her fellow commies want to disarm white men and that “entitled” constituents dependent on the wealth redistribution agenda produce a disproportionate amount of violent criminals.

Common Sense

Elbert Lee Guillory talks “gun violence.” [Watch]

I wanted to embed the video here, but got an “Unavailable — may contain content owned by someone else” notice. That’s curious because it’s from his Facebook page.

I could quibble with some of the details but find him mostly right on and refreshing. His message needs to be heard by people of color. It’s a shame that so many of them would be unreceptive to a face from outside the community, but that’s the socially engineered reality.

Interesting man.
