Now let’s look at homicides where city government honors the Constitution and encourages the Second Amendment. Anybody got a list?

  • HB1587- prohibits the manufacture of semi-automatic rifles in this state

  • HB1589- prohibits the manufacture, transfer, or purchase in this state of a detachable firearm ammunition magazine that is capable of storing and feeding more than 10 rounds of ammunition
  • HB1591- creates an offense to store or keep a firearm in any place unless the firearm is secured in a locked container, unloaded, and separate from ammunition
  • HB1592- requires the owner of a firearm to report loss or theft of the firearm to law enforcement
  • HB1593- requires … that a sale or transfer of a firearm be done through a federally licensed gun dealer
  • HB1594- allows a court to issue an extreme risk protection order
  • HB1596- prohibits a gun dealer from delivering a firearm to a purchaser until 15 business days after

During MSNBC’s The 11th Hour on Wednesday night former Republican strategist and Lincoln Project senior advisor Stuart Stevens proved that for many on the left, speech is violence. This latest example came when host Stephanie Ruhle asked for Stevens’ opinion on the recent spat of random shootings that have taken place over the past week. Stevens then suggested that the outrage over beer company Bud Light using a man dressed up as a woman during one of their promotional commercials was behind some of the violent incidents. [More]

A Staunch Supporter of the Second Amendment

Yeah, about that:

Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee signed an executive order to tighten background checks on Tuesday, marking a victory for gun reformers in the GOP-controlled state. Lee also called upon the state legislature to pass a “red flag” law that will make it easier to remove guns from people who pose a danger to themselves or others.

It’s the way of the Vichycon: Feining support when there’s something in it for you, but when the going gets tough, the rats get scurrying. This is ideologically the same as going AWOL when your brothers are under fire. What a despicable coward.

Time to resurrect an old Stieger quote:

The firearm industry wants to keep firearms out of the hands of those who cannot be trusted to responsibly possess them.
