Just Here for the Smear

This Extremist Group Calls Itself A ‘Parental Rights’ Org. Now It’s Targeting School Boards In 1 Key State. [More]

So they call themselves Moms for Liberty, and HuffPo, SPLC, and some leftist trough-feeding Facebook cat lady who requires they approve you before she’ll let you see and comment on her posts say they’re “trying to discriminate against the LGBTQ community and whitewashing history [and] want to destroy everything good about schools,” but won’t tell us what they’ve done…

They sound like my kind of people.

Friendly Fire

Indy police arrest ‘terrorist’ for purposely driving her car into what she thought was a Jewish school … However, the Anti-Defamation League defines the Israelite School of Universal and Practical Knowledge as an “extreme and antisemitic” sect of the Black Hebrew Israelites. The Southern Poverty Law Center has designated the Black Hebrew Israelites as a hate group. [More]

Dare I suspect her presence here may be the result of rigorousness?

When Seconds Count

Farrant gave evidence that the shooting began at 1:40 p.m. at the Al Noor mosque … The gunman was caught by police at around 2 p.m. [More]

That’s an excellent response time. And utterly useless at stopping the carnage.

What’s the one thing that could have?

So naturally, the communists in charge made the proles even more helpless.

Ruthless J6 Prosecutions Confirm the Ones Afraid of Oath Keepers are Oath Breakers

One way to keep a balking population in line is through the time-tested method of tyrants – cowing it into submission by making a highly publicized example of prominent members, which the J6 “uprising” at the Capitol more than provided. And no one was more high-profile in Oath Keepers than founder Stewart Rhodes, sentenced to 18 years in prison for “seditious conspiracy” and “obstruction of an official proceeding and tampering with documents and proceedings.” [More]

Part Three wraps up my series on why those in power are bent on utterly destroying the one concept that could render them powerless: Enforcers learning they have the power and the duty to say “No.”

How Now Brown Cow?

Study finds surprising number of Americans think chocolate milk comes from brown cows … a study in the 1990s found that nearly 20% of people did not know hamburgers are made from beef. [More]

We call such people “Democrats.” And their votes cancel yours.

This reminds me of an opinion shared with me by a friend and fellow manager from my former life who, as two asides, got his DCM M1 Garand with me and also happened to be black.

“They don’t know how to be poor,” he told me of the generations that subsisted on handouts from the state. He was recalling how his generation grew up working hard and having to make ends meet, including buying some food items in bulk and preparing meals that could feed a family for what it costs for one person to squander on Big Gulps and McDonald’s.

Point/Counterpoint

As predicted by the Four Boxes Diner, in a 2-1 decision the US Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit— via a opinion by judges Wood and Easterbrook— have upheld Illinois’s “assault weapon” ban. However there is a strong dissent here. This decision is no shock to Four Boxes Diner viewers because as I explained before, in my view, Judge Wood and Judge Easterbrook are unserious jurists on 2A issues and this was a given outcome (unfortunate and frustrating, yes, but entirely predictable).
