See, years ago, I became suspicious when the notoriously phony Newsom made a claim to convince union Fudds he was one of them:
“I’m a hunter,” Newsom told the union crowd when a man in the audience grumbled about his support for gun control. Newsom, who in his younger days shot lizards with a rifle on visits to his father’s place in the Sierra foothills, said he has hunted ducks and enjoys skeet shooting, but nonetheless supports background checks for gun owners. So, per the email embedded in that link, I wrote to the California Department of Fish and Wildlife under the Public Records Act, asking for copies of all hunting license//tags issued to him.
They shined me on, told me”the law” said they didn’t have to. Which is fine, I wouldn’t want my records handed out so I can’t grouse about that. But still, it opens up a big question for Gavin and Izzy:
Whose gun did he use?
One more question, actually:
