The new response from J.P. Morgan Wealth Management is good news. There is no reason not to do business with a company involved in the firearm industry. [More]
True, but there are plenty of reasons for a company involved n the firearms industry — and gun owners in general — not to do business with J.P. Morgan.
A posting about a DGU against a home-intruding bear somehow elicits a response that it was “shocking and evil” and segues into going to other countries to hunt is “disgusting and shows contempt for God’s creation.” [More]
I’ll take the side that an uninvited and unpredictable animal in my home, two-legged or four — is fair game. And while I never personally have trophy-hunted, I understand that aside from monetary benefits to the society that facilitates it, there is also another group that (unsurprisingly) benefits.
As for bringing God’s will into the argument, I confess I’m out of my depth (show me a human being who isn’t), but would not discount citing “mighty hunter before the Lord” Nimrod and “cunning hunter” Esau, or Genesis 9:3.

I could say I was keyboarding it one-handed while my three-year-old granddaughter was trying to climb up into my lap because she wanted me to go to YouTube and sing the Sponge Bob song with her, or I could say I did it on purpose because I was trying not to offend Allah.
[T]he idea of hereditary legislators is as inconsistent as that of hereditary judges, or hereditary juries; and as absurd as an hereditary mathematician, or an hereditary wise man; and as ridiculous as an hereditary poet laureate.
“What should we think of a gentleman, who, upon hiring a waiting-man, should say to him—’my friend, please to take notice, before we come together, that I shall always claim the liberty of eating when and what I please, of fishing and hunting upon my own ground, of keeping as many horses and hounds as I can maintain, and of speaking and writing my sentiments upon all subjects.’ A servant must be a fool, who would not suppose such a master to be a madman… Let these truths sink deep into our hearts: that the people are the masters of their rulers and that rulers are the servants of the people…”
“I shouldn’t have had to be scared to change in the women’s locker room. I’m not allowed to show my hair or my body to biological males, and I shouldn’t have had to deal with that. I should have had those privacy rights since the second I walked into the locker room since my freshman year,” Hazameh, a practicing Muslim, told Fox News Digital. [More]
So… whose side does Newsom take? And what a coward, trying to offload the problem on the legislature instead of making his advocacy and expectations to them known as figurehead leader of the state’s majority.

I then called the White House number only to find out it is limited to an an announcement about tours, and then called the switchboard only to be told they cannot pass along messages and “they’re out for the day.”
Just to make sure I didn’t miss anything, I decided to see if Google’s AI could help, and this was the response:
As of September 17, 2025, the White House has not issued a statement or proclamation specifically from President Donald Trump commemorating Constitution Day. While the day is typically observed with presidential proclamations, a search of White House and official channels showed no such announcements for the current year.
That’s more than not a good look. Especially since the AI answer says Joe Biden didn’t forget.
Realizing that the guy is busy and out of country being feted by British royalty, this nonetheless could and should have been prepped in advance and represents a failure on the part of his staff to look out for their boss’s image and interests.
Why would we expect them to grow up to be anything but even more dangerous versions of this?
Addendum: This just seems so outrageous I looked to see if maybe some troll faked the voice-over to smear these people and get others to help spread the word. So far, I can’t prove this isn’t real.
