If I were going, which I’m not, I’d expect a pretty good gun show.
Outside of that, I’m trying to work up a … hoot to give.

That’s terrific. I approve.
Now detail the plane and resources you and your partners are effecting and expending to out-influence the bagel brains, counter the dominant influencers, and reverse that 79% ratio.
Because we know what ADL is telling them.
Maybe in a generation or two…?

I just ran across my 11-year-old column looking for something else and wish I’d remembered it for my recent AmmoLand pieces.
Received via email:

Or as my critics are wont to say:
“F___ mission creep… Holy s___ shut the f___ up. These issues are completely seperate… This has nothing to do with guns. Shut up and stay in your lane… F___. Off… No they aren’t, shut up.”

You’d think a “single issue” Second Amendment organization would have something to say about that.

So, someone who is running on a platform to “Repeal the Second Amendment” is considered an “establishment Democrat” and representative of what Everytown/Moms Demand consider “commonsense gun safety laws?”
There’s no giving an inch to these lying tyrant wannabes. You’d think NRA’s “A+ rated and endorsed” rated John Cornyn would understand that.

We live in a time of hyper skepticism. Folks in leadership roles who do not grasp that simple but very relevant concept are destined for failure. NRA needs to be very forthcoming on information concerning any changes to Bylaws well in advance of the formal process. If you do not get the membership on your side you feed the conspiracy mills and once going they are hard to stop. [More]

Good summary on the case here:
Specifically, he alleges that the Defendants used donations to pay for exorbitant legal and advertising fees as well as luxurious fringe benefits for NRA executives.
NRA 2.0 notwithstanding, I’m still hearing “Not another dime.”
Sounds like the judge is pressuring for settlement and is saying if they don’t he will.
I watched the NRA webinar.
Grassroots Field Coordinator David Conte gave an overview of all the different operations and then outlined the various ways members can get involved as volunteers, including with elections.
He also commented on how NRA members are reliable voters but many gun owners are not, something readers here are well aware of.
He’s got his work cut out for him trying to herd cats, and mistrust of NRA and Profiles in Apathy were in full display by the numbers in attendance, only 37 after all of the members reached via emails and social media.
I have no idea how to change that. What I do know is, unless gun owners get involved, organize and actually do something politically constructive, whether with NRA or through some other means, Democrats are going to continue to drag everything into the abyss.
