I’m seeing an increase in commentators warning about this, what with Biden trolling for headlines.

Back when Rhode Island Red David Cicilline introduced it, the prognosis was a 6% chance of passing.

In its HB 1808 reincarnation, it’s 12%.

  • Did Paul Pelosi open the door for police?
  • Did he then go back inside toward the assailant instead of outside to safety?
  • What was he wearing?
  • What was his attacker wearing?
  • Why was this not revealed before the midterms? Why has it still not been disclosed? When will it be? Ever?

Bottom line: We’re being played. So it’s no surprise the “real reporters” couldn’t be bothered to do any more work than was required to parrot the narrative.

Ordinarily, I’d agree unless deliberate indifference to known dangers could be demonstrated. We are generally responsible for our own defense. Still, statements against customers being armed don’t help discourage predators, although, in Florida, open carry outside of specifically defined limited circumstances still isn’t an option.

As for companies that disallow any kind of carry, I’d like to see more gun owners hand the manager this card and spread the word about his refusal to sign it:
