About That Rumor

Despite the widespread speculation, here’s what we actually know:

A private criminal complaint was filed against Shapiro. The Butler County District Attorney disapproved the complaint. There is no official confirmation of any criminal charges or federal investigation. Social media claims of a cover-up remain unverified. [More]

For what it’s worth, he’s a Democrat

That said, I join in cautioning not to leap to any illusions. Just from a making sense standpoint, it doesn’t.

And that said, boy, wouldn’t it be rich?

Should Be Easy Enough to Determine

“They sell weapons to drug cartels… the fact is that the Ukrainian military sells a huge percentage, up to half of the weapons we send them. And this is not my guess. This is a fact. Not speculation. They sell it, and a lot of it ends up with drug cartels on our border. So this is a crime,” Carlson said, quoted by RIA Novosti. [More]

If true, it should be provable from “crime scene” serial numbers, like in Fast and Furious . If not, a correction and apology are in order.

So… is anybody else looking into it?

We’re the Only Ones Underpaid Enough

Under an expired contract, pay for sergeants starts at $98,000 and is capped at $118,000 after roughly five years, according to the NYPD’s Sergeants Benevolent Association (SBA). Patrol officers top out at $115,000 – meaning hundreds of sergeants make less than thousands of rank-and-file cops who have reached top pay for their position. [More]

Oh, the weight of the badge… “Law and order” Republicans are outraged!

The standing army sure makes a lot more than the average member of the Constitutional Militia it keeps disarmed, members who don’t have qualified immunity and union protection…

So what do New Yorkers get for their losses in freedom and treasure…?

Diversity Lost

[T]he five teenage suspects arrested in connection to a January 20 attempted break-in at a gun and ammunition store in Franklin, Tennessee are Honduran nationals who were in the United States illegally at the time of their arrest, and that they are scheduled to be deported by federal immigration authorities. Are We Thinking About Gun Violence All Wrong? [More]

It’s no secret that impulse-controlled sociopathic retards explode homicidally on the slightest perceived provocation. The problem is government encouraging their perpetuation and then allowing them access to the rest of us.

As for his “good neighborhood,” South Shore is still nothing to write home about.

What do you do with people who can’t be trusted with balls?

Or people like Jens and the publishers of The Atlantic who never had them?

Try Telling This Dad Whose Daughter Was Killed By An Illegal That Open Borders Are ‘Compassionate’ [More]

Stuff like this makes me recall a man I worked with in California in the 90s:

Back when I was living there, a colleague’s teenaged daughter was killed when a car full of illegals plowed into hers on the freeway. None of them would admit to being the driver and the main suspect disappeared, presumably across the border. But that was long enough ago to where he’s probably been gracing us with the blessings of his presence — and then some — since then.

Meanwhile, a beautiful young lady had her life cut short and would never experience its joys and realize her potential. And my co-worker, who had always been friendly and quick to joke until his precious girl was ripped away from him, lived out his shortened days a shattered, broken man who would never see justice.

Scamming Since They Crossed the Border

Two Mexican nationals residing in the Kansas City area have been charged in federal court for their involvement in a conspiracy to stage numerous armed robberies. The alleged scheme was designed to help purported victims, who were immigrants, use their status as crime victims to apply for visas. [More]

We’re the Only Ones Liquor Talking Enough

Boston police detective charged with drunk driving after Brookline crash… McKeown was swearing at the other driver and blaming him for the accident… He initially refused when officers attempted to conduct field sobriety tests and stated “Trooper, do you understand who I am?” [More]

What an @$$hole. Can you imagine being at this oinker’s mercy, especially after he’s had a few?

I’m a firm believer that how a person behaves when drunk does not excuse them, but instead shows what they’re really like with the filters removed.

Brain Trust

A “cannibal” who killed a homeless man and ate his eyes and brain was committed in 2013 to Connecticut’s custody for a term of 60 years, then released from the secure facility where he had been housed on “temporary leave” to a group home in September 2023. A hearing scheduled for February 21 will determine whether he is essentially set free under “conditional release.” [More]

Add “brains” to the list.

Some things are broken and cannot be fixed.
