Same Story, Different Plot?

21 students and teachers were murdered in Uvalde because Texas doesn’t have a red flag law or fund prevention of mass shootings. 21 children drowned at Camp Mystic (11 girls and one counselor still missing) because they didn’t get a flood warning. [More]

Recalling the truism, it’s a different story but the exact same blood dancing plot:

Self-righteous mother_ers who demand infringements instead of proven protective measures share culpability for every death.

And don’t forget the hate-filled race hustlers!

Speaking of being the same, the common threads are citizen disarmament and racism, foundational pillars of the Democrat Party.

Signed, Sealed and Undelivered

Missouri appeals court keeps McCloskey criminal records sealed… Former Gov. Mike Parson pardoned the couple in August 2021. Mark McCloskey immediately sued to get the guns back. But courts ruled that although a pardon eliminates a conviction, it does not “extinguish his guilt or the consequences flowing from his guilty plea”… Tuesday’s ruling upheld that decision over the objection of prosecutors, who said the couple remained a threat to public safety.[More]

They forgot to put “Democrat” in front of “courts” and “prosecutors.”

Slow Going Ahead

Relatives are in town and I’ve got a ton of stuff to do that has nothing to do with this…

I may write one article and publicize it, but aside from that, unless something YUGE happens, I don’t anticipate resuming regular blogging until next week.

Please hold off on news tips and emails, minimize comments, and understand if there are extended response delays and stuff I just don’t get to.

I’ll be hosting 20 + people for Independence Day here, and I’ve got plenty of chores to do to prepare, plus family and friends to pursue happiness with.

May your life include similar constructive and enjoyable purposes. See ya when I’m back.

That and Elon’s been flaky on “2A.”shall not be infringed.”

Look, the guy’s a genius who has done stuff bordering on magic, and we owe him a lot. That doesn’t mean he can’t also be wrong, and at times, profoundly.

No new Ross Perots. All his supporters knew is they were mad as hell and against plenty, but they weren’t looking too closely at what he was for.

Democrats Gone Silent

Picture I took in Ukraine a few months ago. 50 dollar over the counter Suppressors. The upper end ones were about $425 at the time. [More]

Now note how many gun-grabbers here in the land of the Second Amendment who make up all kinds of lies to deny this to you have a “#Slava Ukraini” hashtag in their social media profiles.

They were all silent when the biggest case for an armed populace opened up before their eyes, too.

Fool Me Once…

Republicans, take heed. Not every gun owner voice out there is a “Next Best Win” apologist, and you need all of us if you’re not going to blow the midterms, which may be a done deal after this.

But won’t that mean the Democrats will gain the power to take our guns?

Does it?

Flesh out what that would look like and we can start looking at likely responses, flash points, and potentialities.

See, none of this “commonsense gun safety law” crap, just a straight up admission of what he really wants to do

And what he’s done here is taken the “I respect the Second Amendment BUT” lie away from every politician who has endorsed him, as well as the Democrat party as a whole. I don’t see any Moms Demand or Giffords posters yet, but I dare them to back him, because that will take the lie away from them, too.

Hey, if New Yorkers elect him and the Muslims carry out another mass casualty event, what will my obligation be to consider it an attack on America warranting a response I support? Actually, I’m not sure what it is now…

Who Died and Made Her Queen?

Senate Parliamentarian Elizabeth MacDonough had previously determined that the “Byrd Rule” applied in this case. Because a reconciliation bill — a type of budget bill — requires only a simple majority of 51 votes for passage, the Byrd Rule imposes restrictions on what provisions can be included. Measures deemed to be “extraneous” to the budget must secure a supermajority of 60 votes to pass. As a result, the proposal to remove undocumented immigrants from Medicaid failed by just four votes. [More]

I especially like that part of the Constitution where it says she can infringe on the right to keep and bear arms and then our “gun rights leaders” call it a “next best win.”

The Not Ready for Prime Time Player

Law-abiding citizens should have the right to responsibly own firearms without excessive government interference. [More]

That sounds like some shallow appeal-to-those-who -don’t-think-it-through weasel wording right there.

What about when being “law-abiding” means surrendering that “fundamental aspect of our freedom and security”? And how is any government interference with that which shall not be infringed not excessive?

And yeah– so much for “America First.”

Here’s how she fights:

Thomas Massie has failed us. He voted against cutting taxes on tips, overtime, and Social Security. He even voted NO on protecting children from AI-generated child exploitation.

This is a crafted misrepresentation. That first part is in the debt increase package. In the second, he saw unintended consequences in unelected Melania’s pet legislative process and Speaker Johnson would not allow amendments.

It’s all part of the all too familiar politics of personal destruction, where, “yuge” ego seeks revenge on any who oppose, support is bestowed on supplicants who fawn, and attacks are ad hominem logical fallacies.

This is what Trump wants to replace Massie with, and cultists in the 4th District are falling for it? I’m not trusting that poll, because right now she only has 53 Truth followers and 176 on Facebook. One suggested she’d get more exposure on X, but I think her campaign is afraid of the rationing she’d get from Constitutionalists sick of all the BS.

I’m with Elon on this.
