It Ain’t Over ’til It’s Over

But we’re not across the finish line just yet. Parts of the bill still need to be cleaned up, and there’s still a chance we get stabbed in the back right before the goal. It’s time to mobilize—one final push. This is our chance, and we can’t afford to waste it. [More]

I need to hear the fat lady sing.

Phase 3, Profit!

This is how it works: Step one, acquire statistics on firearm-related deaths among children ages 0 to 14. Step two, combine that relatively low number with the far greater number of firearm-related deaths involving juveniles and young adults ages 15 to 17, 15 to 19, or even ages 15 to 24. Step three, present the resulting data as the shocking number of “children” (ages 0 to 17, 0 to 19 or 0 to 24) who are subjected to “gun violence” each day/week/month/year. Step four, use the disingenuous statistic to advocate for pre-determined gun control policies by claiming “gun violence is the leading cause of death of children.” [More]

Oh, I get it!

Come Now, and Let Us Reason Together

H.Con.Res. 38: Directing the President pursuant to section 5(c) of the War Powers Resolution to remove United States Armed Forces from unauthorized hostilities in the Islamic Republic of Iran… Prognosis
24% chance of being agreed to [More]

Seems to me ignoring the Constitutional delegation of the power to declare war to Congress has produced nothing but catastrophe since the end of WWII. If we’re going to risk WWIII, I want to have a say in it through my representatives.

It’s both amazing and depressing to see how knee-jerk hostile many self-identified MAGA types get on social media at the suggestion that we might just want to listen to the Founders on this. Ditto for some gun owners, who aren’t grokking a text, history, and tradition parallel…

I guess they’re ready for martial law, ration cards, and suspension of rights. Either that or they think it will always just be something we see on the news.

Very few seem to be asking “Cui bono?” or connecting dots to the “Deep State” Trump campaigned against.

And All the Stars that Never Were Are Parking Cars and Pumping Gas

“Avengers” actor Mark Ruffalo declared last weekend that billionaires and “White people” are creating the country’s problems, not immigrants. [More]

Yeah, listen to the multimillionaire “socialist” who wants your guns. And wants you to starve.

And not all billionaires. He’s got no problem supporting a George Soros backed kiddie porn campaign. (Funny, how the same people shouting “Nazi book burning” are all in when it comes to banning great American writers.)

If the actor playing the Ty-D-Bol man had hit the big time, moron “fans” would be hanging on his every political pronouncement, too.

Makes You Want to Rush Out There and Turn in Those Guns

OF COURSE the party of radicals wants you disarmed [More]

We talked about this evil Democrat cow here, and I’m looking into a potential new angle on dealing with her that nobody else is talking about– stay tuned.

In the meantime, F. Paul Valone also gives us a couple examples from the party of Vichycons, two-faced poltroons who back “gun control” because they’re not very informed, they’re not very smart, and they’re not very principled.

I’m talking about YOU, Ted Davis, and YOU, Bill Brisson. What the hell did you think you were swearing to do when you took those oaths?

Gun Store Shutdown Moves Ahead

Republican Senator Fred Girod said he believed the point of the bill was to make guns more expensive. We disagree. The bill is clearly designed to make guns unavailable. [More]

Don’t look to the controlled opposition to deny a quorum.

UPDATE

I’m told the House decided a floor show was an appropriate people’s business concern:

The Original ‘No Kings’ Rally

The Founders didn’t just rebel, they reasoned. [More]

Excellent short essay about what made America different…

If it whets your appetite, I’ve got a longer read for you.

There’s a reason Marxist Democrats want anyone who espouses founding principles rejected by their mobs as a fascist. The real revolution wasn’t the rebellion, it was the idea that people can govern themselves without monarchs.

And there’s a reason why the left has co-opted that concept to replace kings with commissars.

We’re the Only Ones Disarmed Enough

Sheriff Jim DeWees said he canceled his deputies’ participation because the Orioles would not allow them to carry their guns during the event. “I think the decision is just blatantly ignorant,” DeWees said, expressing his frustration with the Orioles’ policy, which he believes puts his deputies at risk. [More]

A meme comes to mind.

I’ve written about public disarmament at sporting and other mass public venues plenty of times, and there’s one discussion I’d like to hear some thoughts on, specifically, observing Cooper’s rule about what’s behind your target.

Our Foreign Economic Benefactors

For years, liberal advocacy groups and complicit media outlets have pushed a narrative that sounds almost too good to be true: illegal immigrants are contributing $96 billion annually in taxes while maintaining higher employment rates than native-born Americans. Like most things that sound too good to be true, this claim crumbles under basic economic scrutiny. [More]

Cheap labor Republicans pushing Grovernomics do that, too.

I’ll pay 20 cents more for a head of lettuce.

Because nothing is worth what the traitors abetting all this really want– democratically unchallengeable political control.
