The Florida law that prohibits minors from purchasing firearms does not violate the Second and Fourteenth Amendments because it is consistent with our historical tradition of firearm regulation. [More]

Swatting Of Conservative Media and Online Figures Continues Across the Country [More]
That’s attempted premeditated murder. If anyone dies, it ought to be a capital crime.
With all the reports, I’ve yet to find one instance where the perpetrator has been someone who espouses the Constitutional values the victims have.

The latest version of Senate Bill-003 passed committee last Friday and threatens to change your way of life in Colorado. Under this bill, our: ● Sheriffs are permitted to require a DNA test from you to buy a gun. ● Parks and Wildlife Division will use money dedicated to hunting to fund expansive gun control schemes. ● Department of Revenue will be in charge of deciding which guns you can and can’t buy. [More]
Because of Democrat gun-grabber dominance, you have to ask yourself what ways are still open to resolve this peaceably in favor of the Second Amendment, and why those who could lead the way don’t appear to want to.

My question isn’t so much “How badly will Trump have to blow it?” as “Will he?“
Taking $200 Out of an ATM Should Not Trigger Federal Financial Surveillance… Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said the change “underscores our deep concern with the significant risk to the U.S. financial system of the cartels, drug traffickers, and other criminal actors along the Southwest border.” [More]
Maybe they can get some more of those “Always Think Forfeiture” Leathermans made up…
So, yet again, government creates problems it uses as an excuse to crack down on those of us paying for it. And this time, it’s “law and order Republicans.”
Gun Control’s Focus Shifts to State Capitals [More]
While Main Justice does nothing about it.
Remember when the focus of some state capitals was on segregation and DOJ and the administration said “No”? (And note the media trick of calling George Wallace a “staunch conservative.” He was a Democrat at that time and didn’t run as an “American Independent” until ’68.)
Acting U.S. Attorney Michael Simpson files brief for @TheJusticeDept arguing that silencers are NOT arms & are NOT protected by the Second Amendment. [More]
Did I hear someone say gun owners are losing patience?

Yeah, but he’s only been on the job two months and he’s got a lot on his plate and he’s playing a 3D chess game and… aside from “Would you rather have Kamala?” what excuse did I miss?
And any word on the Bondi report yet?

Defense lawyer Kristy Militello indicated they wanted to test the rifle for operability, accuracy, and range. “It is old, and we want our expert to determine: Is it operable, is it accurate, what kind of distance can it reach?” Militello explained. [More]
Being deliberately rendered inoperable seems like it would be the only relevant factor in terms of moderating charges.

Journo Bumps Trump with Boom Mic — What was That All About?… Indeed, why didn’t the secret service take any action? How could they be sure that the incident was innocuous? [More]
From my own experience with the Secret Service at Trump media events:
The day of the event, the press was instructed to meet at one end of the huge complex to check in, pick up badges, and for those bringing in cameras and gear, preset equipment, which the Secret Service would check.
What I don’t know is everything protocol requires the equipment to be inspected for.
