We’re the Only Ones Flighty Enough

San Luis Obispo officer attempts to board plane with loaded gun
January 30, 2025 [More]

Let’s see:

I could do this all day.

So why does the “Only One” story say “Investigators ultimately allowed the SLO officer to board the flight to Denver”…? Or did I just answer my own question?

A Utah Commie

This bill by Democrat Senator Nate Blouin is a 1,700 line stinking pile of nearly every useless and unworkable gun control scheme so beloved by Democrats. Waiting periods, magazine bans, registration of semi-auto firearms, bans on semi automatic firearms, “Law enforcement only” markings required on mags and guns, illegal to possess any gun without serial numbers (which includes most inexpensive guns made prior to 1968), etc. [More]

Any questions?

An Age-Old Question

No, of course that’s not the final word.

What will Trump’s DOJ and ATF do now?

More Like a Slap Fight

Padilla and Kash Patel clash on gun ownership in America [Watch]

Did you see a clash?

I saw equivocation over easily answered questions.

No, prior restraints are not consitututional. It says “shall not be infringed.” Yes, every terrible implement of the soldier is the birthright of an American.

But if he answered plainly, he’d never get confirmed?

If so, it’s because Republicans have consistently over the years avoided using their bully pulpits to articulate the reasons for the Second Amendment, so to most people they come across as something that intuitively goes against everything they’ve been “told.”

As long as that’s the case– as long as 2A advocacy is marginalized and relegated to a niche segment outside of the mainstream– treasonous Democrats like Padilla will be able to manipulate with words like “extreme”.

That’s why I’m not letting up on Trump’s unfulfilled campaign rhetoric and what he could do to start turning things around. That’s why I’ll keep calling it out each day that goes by where he ignores us.

Costco shoppers respond as company’s DEI practices fall under scrutiny [More]

Big deal. If they still give them their business knowing Costco’s disarmament policy, they’ll accept anything.

Even if they ignore it, they are still subjecting themselves and their loved ones to the heightened risks of a posted “gun free zone.”

Davis Codea [Hah!] discusses ATF lies that put US Veteran in prison for 20 years. Lee Williams wrote the original story covered here on AAR by Lee on Tuesday’s show and Codrea follows up with his take on the travesty. Next, has Trump lived up to his promises for 2A EO’s reversing all of Biden’s EO’s on gun control as he said he would do on day one? David gives us the lowdown and his thoughts. [Listen]

Menendez ‘Hoist with His Own Petard’ on Gun Control

What that also means is that Menendez, a huge proponent of disarming law-abiding Americans, is designated a “prohibited person,” forbidden by federal (and New Jersey) law from owning a gun. [More]

A universal truth is that those who demand to control us can’t — or won’t –control themselves.

Across the Board

I’ve been asked for my recommendations on the NRA Board by a member who does not want to vote for the status quo. My response:

The Barr group is the one to avoid. I call him Lautenberg Bob. Do not vote for these:

These are a better alternative but my policy is not to endorse a director unless they agree that a politician’s votes on immigration should affect their grade rating.

Calling in a Marker

President Trump promised gun-owning voters that Biden’s unconstitutional anti-gun disasters would “get ripped up and torn out” during the first week of his Administration. We just officially passed that milestone in the Trump-Vance Administration – and Biden’s anti-gun policies are still in effect. [More]

With so many “gunfluencers” gushing over and kissing up to the guy with unearned credit, it’s comforting to see I’m not only not alone, and that “the no compromise gun lobby” sees the need to point this out as well.

It’s past time to start posting some executive actions.

We’re the Only Ones Uncooperative Enough

Portland police chief Bob Day issued a community letter on Jan. 28, proudly affirming Portland’s unconstitutional sanctuary city policies, announcing his determination to flout federal law enforcement arresting criminal illegal aliens, and therefore publicizing as much as possible his corruption and illegal activities. Considering that ICE is currently focused on deporting the most dangerous illegal alien criminals, including murderers and child rapists, this begs the question why Day is so desperate to protect such evil people. Drop Everything?

Hamilton was facing nine charges in connection to the road rage shooting, but on Jan. 27, 2025, her case was dismissed due to the victim failing to appear for trial. [More]

Keep feeding that entitlement.

I wonder if political patronage connections that got her a medic position at the Detroit Fire Department played a part. Because the case wasn’t Victim v. Hamilton, it was People v. Hamilton, “charged with assault with intent to murder, assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder, discharge of a firearm from a vehicle, assault with a dangerous weapon, four felony firearm violations, and fourth-degree child abuse,” and the prosecutor could have subpoenaed and compelled the victim to testify.

Who wanted to let this clear and present danger to the public walk, and why? And is speculating on witness intimidation out of line?
