A Line from Pulp Fiction Comes to Mind

H.R. 38 (118th): Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act [More]

With permits, of course, which leaves me out.

I don’t see a prognosis yet so I’ll give mine: Good luck getting “Republicans” like Brian Fitzpatrick and Susan Collins not to join with the Democrats to keep this from ever getting to the president’s desk.

Change my mind.

Oh, and about that line… (NSFW!)

The Cognitive Dissonance… It Burns

The national Liberal Gun Club said it has received thousands of training requests since the election, more than in all of 2023. A spokesperson for the group estimated that roughly a quarter were from LGBTQ people. In Philadelphia, in the waning weeks of the year, residents peppered local queer Facebook groups with questions about guns and training. The local chapter of the Socialist Rifle Association, a leftist analogue to the National Rifle Association, said it saw a surge in paid memberships; [More]

Constitutionalists won’t be the ones to put them in concentration camps. Those would be the violence monopolists stupid leftists vote for.

‘Fact Checker’ Meltdown

Doltish reporters Rebecca Shabad and Ryan J. Reilly breathlessly reported that “Rep. Mike Collins, R-Ga., falsely claimed in a lengthy post on X this morning that ‘thousands of peaceful grandmothers’ gathered Jan. 6, 2021, to take a tour of the U.S. Capitol building and that people peacefully explored the building.” They go on and on about “false” and “untrue” claims in Collins’ post, including some assertions that aren’t false. [More]

Doltish is right. I remember Ryan J. Reilly freaking out over “rubber bullets” that earned him his own special Fauxtoshop that seemed so appropriate…

Speaking of Disingenuous Arguments

Received via email:

The main reason people can’t intervene is because the law requires them to be unarmed. It’s not to say tackling someone during a mag swap is impossible, just that it’s probably highly unlikely, with the odds of a convergence of “right” factors, including distance, mental state, physical ability, etc. being slim. I don’t have numbers to support my intuitive assesment, but the point is, neither does the guy arguing “public benefit.”

It’s not the first time I’ve disagreed with his opinions, but not being a professional trainer, what do I know?

Military Gun Training in Polish Schools

Unlike in the land of the Second Amendment, where gun prohibitionists who demand avoidance and ignorance label themselves as “commonsense gun safety advocates,” the training is embraced by educators, politicians and parents.  [More]

Compare and contrast to ignorant and cowardly anti-gun “educators” here…

Breeding Contempt

You might be asking, can a lawmaker be held in contempt? The answer is absolutely. The Supreme Court has repeatedly held that the Judiciary Act of 1789 authorizes federal courts to punish contempt by fine or imprisonment. [More]

So who will prosecute that?

Thing is, I suspect speech and debate privileges will preclude going after politicians, and it’s the laws and its enforcers that need to be gone after. Any lawyers competent in this area care to weigh in?

We’re the Only Ones Threatening Enough

According to a probable cause statement obtained by FOX 2, hundreds of children and adults attended the October 2023 trunk-or-treat event. McCulloch aggressively approached attendees and made statements like “you are all going to die” before one witness shoved him. The probable cause statement states that after McCulloch fell to the ground, he pulled out a handgun and badge, began shooting in an upward direction, and shouted that attendees would die. At some point, several witnesses tackled McCulloch, authorities seized the weapon, and he was taken into custody. [More]

So, they’d have been justified to shoot his punk @$$…

And they knew the nepocop who got on the force because of (Democrat) Prosecutor Dad was a headcase but unleashed him on the public anyway…

We’re the Only Ones Informative Enough

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Release Full Manifesto from Matthew Livelsberger: “This was Not a Terrorist Attack; It is a Wake-Up Call” [More]

Funny, how accomodating they are with stuff they want released, and how clammed up authorities get with stuff they don’t.

It’s almost like we’re being fed a narrative or something…

If We Can’t Believe a Premeditated Oath Breaker, Who CAN We Believe?

But Williams wants to let his former comrades know “a faggot is doing this to them.” He thinks his story could be his most effective weapon. [More]

Not to mention a proven liar, out to try and ruin lives for personal motivations that appear to reflect on him more than they do on actionable lawbreaking….

Just like what appears to be more of a smear job than investigative reporting does on Pro Publica.

It does touch on what I considered to be Oath Keepers’ greatest vulnerability: Involving itself in actions that strayed from what the controllers feared the most: its mission to educate enforcers about orders not to obey and why.

I’ll also say that some of the names I’m seeing representing new leadership were never included in the many emails I still have with old leadership.
