Knew or Should Have Known

“We just want you guys to know my brother has schizophrenia, he’s bipolar,” said the suspect’s sister, Jessica Salazar. “He was diagnosed with schizophrenia. A lot of people that have family members out there are going to understand. He would feel persecuted, voices talking to him. He tried committing suicide once or twice.” [More]

In other words, he couldn’t be trusted without a custodian.

So much for “A” grades on “gun laws.”

Better Than BOGO!

Legislation (S. 3436/A. 5835) Exempts Applications for an ERPO from Requiring an Index Number Fee … Since the new legislation was enacted in June 2022, the number of Extreme Risk Protection Orders has increased by ten times. [More]

Kathy Hochul just made revenge affordable for all!

That’s OK– the government is still saving plenty of money by not requiring a trial first before pronouncing a sentence.

Brady’s Astroturf Campaign To Skew The Comments [Watch]

Skew back.

Here’s my comment:

This proposed rule infrin ges on the Second Amendment.

As Edwin Vieira Jr. noted in Kolbe v. Hogan:

“This reliance on a permanent private market for firearms guaranteed that most militiamen, through their own efforts, could always obtain firearms suitable for both collective and individual self-defense, and forestalled tyranny by precluding rogue public officials from monopolizing the production, distribution, and possession of firearms.”

They gave me a tracking number to check back when it’s posted.

A Moving Story

The Second Amendment Foundation and founder Alan Gottlieb have moved their civil rights lawsuit against Washington Attorney General Bob Ferguson from federal court to Washington State court in a move the plaintiffs hope will bring a speedier resolution to their case. [More]

That a lawsuit is even needed is all the evidence of in-your-face tyranny I need.

It Takes a Villa… Division

It takes armies of homegrown peacemakers at the community level to steer people away from social networks in which gun violence is embedded and break this horrific cycle. [More]

That’s funny. All it took for me and everyone I value was responsible parents who set moral examples.

I guess throwing more money at a cultural outcome of their creation is what the power-hungry and their useful idiots would demand.

But as long as we’re going with military metaphors, I don’t suppose any of these wealth redistribution grabtards would be interested in talking “militia”…?

The Fast Track to Citizenship

Good thing this has nothing to do with that “single issue.” And I have that on good authority.

Going Through the Motions

The district court judge in our lawsuit challenging the ATF’s “frame or receiver” rule granted Defense Distributed and 80 Percent Arms’ motions for injunction pending appeal, meaning it can’t be enforced against them while the case continues. [More]

If Founding Intent were applied to everything, the whole damn fraudulent house of cards would collapse.

We’re the Only Ones Very Pretty Enough

A sweeping bill has been signed into law by Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) in the wake of the horrific Uvalde shooting, posting an armed security officer in every school in the state. [More]

The Importance of Being Ernst

Sen. Joni Ernst (R-IA) is asking the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) to explain the surge in revoked Federal Firearms Licenses (FFLs) and suggesting it has overstepped the boundaries of the law. [More]

“Suggesting”…?

Is that finger in the air to see which way the wind is blowing?

This is the same “solidly pro-gun candidate” who voted with Chuck Schumer on that “bipartisan” bill the administration is now using to sabotage private sales.
