We’re the Fauxnly Ones Convincing Enough

A Texas man dressed up as a police officer to get inside a home to rob the people inside before he was later arrested, authorities said. [More]

Made possible by people being oblivious of their rights…

As I’ve noted before, be aware of The Fauxnly Ones Files. You never know when an “I was afraid he might not be a real cop” defense could use some validation that it’s a widespread and frequent enough phenomenon to be a legitimate justification for resistance.

We’re the Only Ones Extorting Enough

After seizing the 13,000 square foot building, which was formerly a church until it closed, city attorney Terry Ford said Highland Park would return it if the Kozbials bought the city two new Ford vehicles totaling nearly $70,000 for its police department. The couple would also have to stop growing marijuana in the building. [More]

Sure glad the parasites behind the naked shakedown took an oath to a document that, among other things, exists “to secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity.”

We’re the Only Ones Voluntary Enough

You know, one of the programs that we launched when I first became sheriff was working with a judge for a gun surrender program, and it’s in one of the family courts, and it’s been pretty successful. It’s all voluntary. You volunteer to surrender it. You just need them to volunteer to give it back.

We’re the Only Ones Evidence-Tampering Enough

After the snippy exchanges, one of the officers searches Pesce’s vehicle and finds his police badge — and remarks, “Ohh,” NJ.com said, referring to the hour-plus footage the site obtained. Both officers then turn off their cameras, the outlet said — with their tone markedly different when the cameras are switched back on, with Pesce now being called “chief,” the outlet noted. I’d say “Now imagine had this been you” except I don’t know anyone who would get himself in this type of disgustingly pathetic situation.

We’re the Only Ones Getting a GRIP Enough

NYPD gun violence tracking database draws concern from civil liberties advocates … Critics of the list, which tracks gun violence suspects, worry people of color may be disproportionately surveilled. [More]

So “99%” is the data’s fault? Eric Adam’s supporters aren’t going to be very pleased.

And Michael Bloomberg’s The Trace complaining about racist gun control: That’s rich.

To be consistent, they’d have to put them on the “No Fly List,” which would be the political kiss of death, so it’s easier just to restrict what you and I can have.
