True, they don’t have a First or a Second Amendment, but contrary to popular opinion, Australians have a right to free speech and a right to keep and bear arms. Everyone does.
What most don’t have is the will to keep violence monopolists from denying them.

They also need to get serious about the unlikelihood that any hearts and minds will be changed, and assess how many open minds will be in the mix and whether the cost/benefit potential makes it worth it.
And when not speaking, but just going around with their daily lives, head on a swivel situational awareness and response preparedness are musts.
The other thing that’s worried me for some time is conservative gatherings, including NRA events and the like, and the potential for some leftist lunatic to “give them a taste of their own medicine.”

This is a design engineering issue that should be resolvable with objective standardized testing. Dragging things out in court only delays the inevitable, it either is or is not defective and is or is not protected by PLCAA.
