We’re the Only Ones Finding the Crime Enough

That implies a sprawling COINTELPRO, or post-9/11-style, FBI spying and provocation operation—this time seeking real or imagined right-wing radicals instead of leftists (COINTELPRO) or Islamists (post 9/11). Logically, such an operation would place agents and/or informants in right-wing radical groups nationwide–such as Hawaii’s KHH and the Aloha Freedom Coalition—but, aside from the January 7, 2021 Honolulu Airport arrest of Proud Boys leader Nick Ochs, the FBI has no results to show for it. Their tactics remind me of something… but what?

I guess Republicans being such a minority they don’t have a chance isn’t enough.

What is it they want us to do?

So what’s the deal on this Lipscomb character?

A Right Denied

A new lawsuit was filed today against the County of Hawaii. Mr Day reached out to HIFICO a couple of weeks ago after being arbitrarily denied a license to carry firearms. We put him in contact with attorneys Alan Beck and Rick Holcombe, who filed today’s lawsuit on his behalf. [More]

I’m on the Hawaii Free Press mailing list and generally don’t have time to go through everything they send me, but they are on top of corruption there and I realize I don’t link to them enough.

They really do post a lot of eye-openers, so I suggest you bypass my shortcomings in calling attention to their stuff and bookmark their site for yourself.

TSA finds anti-aircraft ammunition in bag, evacuates luggage room of Hawaiian airport… The team found a .50-caliber round of anti-aircraft ammunition inside a thermos. [More]

Somebody dig up something from Pearl Harbor? Does it look like somebody wanted an expended souveneir and wrongly figured the metal thermos would shield it from prying overreactors?

Oh, and for those wondering, that’s HNL’s elevation.

The Butterfly Effect

US Court of Appeal for Ninth Circuit declared Hawaii’s butterfly knife ban to be unconstitutional under the 2nd Amendment. Hawaii hires $2400 per hour attorney to try to save the BAN but 2nd Amendment briefs are terrific and should prevail. [Watch]

Major props for Alan Beck and Stephen Stamboulieh who routinely take to the field to battle mercenaries.

Here ’tis…

More fine work from Alan Beck and Stephen Stamboulieh

I notice Adam Winkler whining about Bruen creating an “impossible position.” Why they ever invited this guy to GRPC is beyond me– it’s not like he’s a pal.

Can you imagine if we started challenging other tyrannical edicts and programs based on historical understanding at the time of ratification? It could change everything.
