I want the Constitution observed. Since this affects me and mine, I want my representatives to weigh in. Calling someone who agrees with that a “pathetic loser” is ad hominem, a logical fallacy. It does not speak well to position or character.

Oh, and I’d like to see the evidence.

Seems to me ignoring the Constitutional delegation of the power to declare war to Congress has produced nothing but catastrophe since the end of WWII. If we’re going to risk WWIII, I want to have a say in it through my representatives.

It’s both amazing and depressing to see how knee-jerk hostile many self-identified MAGA types get on social media at the suggestion that we might just want to listen to the Founders on this. Ditto for some gun owners, who aren’t grokking a text, history, and tradition parallel…

I guess they’re ready for martial law, ration cards, and suspension of rights. Either that or they think it will always just be something we see on the news.

Very few seem to be asking “Cui bono?” or connecting dots to the “Deep State” Trump campaigned against.

She did the same thing on PBS and on the pejoratively-titled “Gun crazy in America” for CNN (where Alan Korwin acquitted himself nicely against multiple attackers in the form of the other “guest” and moderator Amanpour).

The attack shows the duality of media-driven public acceptance of attacks on civilians. The Islamists do it and then embed themselves in the populace so any retaliation will result in collateral damages and condemnation. If the Israelis responded in kind against Tehran, the world would be going crazy against them.

Speaking of deescalating the conflict:

Here’s a little experiment you can do for yourself: Check your local library and the larger system it is part of, and see if it stocks items by authors who are advancing Second Amendment information, as opposed to hosting drag queen story hours and screaming about right wing censorship of groomer lit.

Seeing as how these hotbeds of Marxism are wholly funded by tax plunder and the chances of shuttering them are nil, I’m wondering if there’s a good first step legislative remedy against such discrimination that’s feasible.
