NFL to perform ‘Black national anthem’ alongside Star-Spangled Banner at Super Bowl 58 [More]

BLM behavioral exortion writ large

What will happen if someone in the crowd refuses to stand — or goes a step beyond and takes a knee? Not that any fool with more money than sense who shelled out a small fortune to attend would dare…

I just don’t get gun owners or “conservatives” who watch NFL, but I’ll break my “Never watch” policy when the starting lineup includes a trans “man” linebacker.

Politico’s Jonathan Martin Can’t Understand Why Anyone’s Talking About the News When There’s FOOTBALL On [More]

I have to say I can’t understand why anyone is surprised that Harvard is run by subversive leeches or expect them to behave any differently, or that when cornered the cowards would throw one of their own under the bus, but I gotta say I’m getting a kick out of seeing another Prizker exposed for what they all are.

And I totally understand why “real reporters” are what they are and do what they do. Martin is the “journalist” who figured the best way to end an article about Obama grilling “would-be appointees” with personal questions about their guns with this quote:

“The real question is whether he’s doing harm to the broader image of Democrats on guns, and the answer is probably no,” he said. “It may gin up 350,000 hard-core NRA types, but it won’t really bother 65 million other gun owners.”

Let’s Hear It for Our ‘Sports Heroes’!

Make no mistake, the NFL still rules primetime, and that halo effect is real. Our ranker of the most-watched primetime telecasts in 2023 found that 56 slots went to sports — broken down by 45 NFL games, six for the NBA Finals, three for NCAA Basketball March Madness, and one each for college football and Fox’s “The OT” NFL postgame show. [More]

The fans just don’t care.

Kinda makes me realize whan an out-of-step misfit I am…

No Legitimate Sporting Purpose?

Browns QB Deshaun Watson and TE David Njoku both got fined $13,659 for this celebration where they pretended to shoot guns. [More]

So antis don’t really believe in sport shooting either, and Fudds are fools for believing that they do?

They should have just taken a knee and bellyached about their grievances.

I wonder if American men who cheer on this NFL crap realize the message they’re sending the string pullers.

2A TOUCHDOWN: COULD NFL PLAYER USE 2ND AMENDMENT TO DESTROY MASSACHUSETTS GUN LAWS AND MORE? [Watch]

I don’t have a lot of sympathy for anyone so cavalier about the practice that they forget they have a gun, but the only malicious, predatory intent meriting resistance I see here is coming from the tyrants.

I do think it’s funny to see the NFL trying to tiptoe the line between its anti-gun virtue signaling and being afraid to agitate the “institutional racism” fanatics.

Change the Kansas City Football Team’s Racist Name and Imagery [More]

As long as we’re rabble-rousing and bellyaching

I guess they won’t be interested in the compromise mascot I offered Cleveland’s MLB team:

Speaking of the Super Bowl, as usual, I didn’t even know who was playing and when it was until the day of the game. Kansas City and somebody else.

In case anyone wants to know why

I did see a report last night that the purveyors of woke “inclusive” divisive separatism once more kicked things off with the “Black National Anthem” and once again wondered if any player taking a knee would have seen his career and his economic future destroyed, and if any fan had done it would he have made it out of the stadium alive?

A Tale of Two Broadcasters

Bernie, who is a radio contributor and analyst for the Browns, took the high road as he apologized to the organization for putting them in a tough spot, during his Monday night podcast… But he’s standing by his statement that he placed the bet for charity and didn’t think it would be an issue because he says he’s not an employee but an independent contractor with the team. [More]

And for that, the woke front office cowards presuming to hold themselves up as the paragons of ethics summarily and rudely discarded a man who has given them a lifetime of loyalty, saying his “services are no longer desired or needed.” This from a team management that played fast and loose with the draft rules to get Kosar when his services were desired and needed.

Meanwhile, “former NFL player turned broadcaster Jon Vilma … said that this country needs more gun laws. Many were surprised that Vilma went there during an NFL broadcast” and nobody in the league protested that he abused his venue access privileges to attack the rights of his countrymen. And this is a guy who was only suspended for his role in a “pay-for-performance/bounty program that endangered player safety over three seasons.”

I should say Vilma’s Saints bounty scandal — you know, the same team where guns are being stolen from parked cars. Right, moron, the country needs more gun laws.

Today, on Black Lives Matter Theater

If this doesn’t convince you that you and I should be disarmed, nothing will.

And while we’re at it, let’s hear it for the NFL’s “commonsense gun safety”  influence!
