Blame Apportioning

A Galveston, Texas, jury on Monday found the parents of a teenager who shot and killed 10 classmates at Santa Fe High School in 2018 not liable for the violence, ending an unusual civil trial.   • Sheriff gave limited details. Police arrived within seven minutes. The situation is over. They can’t yet say how many inuries but there were “multiple.” They know who the shooter was but aren’t saying yet. They’ll be giving an update this afternoon. They said the White House is monitoring the situation (can’t let a crisis go to waste), and they made a point of quoting blood dancer Kris Brown of Brady.
  • CNN reports “The shooter in the Perry High school shooting is dead, according to law enforcement official.”
