Character Will Out

As Florida attorney general, Pam Bondi publicly supported the investigation and offered her condolences to Trayvon Martin’s family. She called Travyon’s negligent parents “amazing people” and described the family attorneys, including Crump, as “friends of mine.” [More]

The left has plenty of reasons to hate her.

Let’s make sure the love from “our side” isn’t blind.

She’s let us down before and her inconstant actions now raise plenty of questions.

Kneeling for Cedaka

“Deputy Director Cekada has the experience, wisdom and respect of his colleagues to effectively lead the men and women of the ATF,” said Lawrence G. Keane, NSSF Senior Vice President and General Counsel. “Deputy Director Cekada respects the Second Amendment and understands that the firearm industry is not the ‘enemy’ but valuable partner… [More]

So, as Executive Assistant Director – Operations, where he oversaw ATF’s Office of Regulatory Operations, Office of Field Operations, and the Office of Intelligence Operations, what did he know about zero tolerance, gathering information on gun owners, and treating private sellers as being “in the business of,” and when did he know it?

And give some career examples of “respect[ing] the Second Amendment.”

Enquiring Minds Want to Know

As a result there are likely going to be stories in the next few days and weeks about me and Leaders We Deserve that will aim to destroy my reputation in order to weaken this effort. Many of them will be lies. Many of them will be contortions of the truth… [More]

“Many of them will be lies”…?

Does that mean some of them will be the truth?

Which ones?

This makes me think the damaging information will come from entrenched Democrat interests.

We’re the Only Ones Illegal Enough

“It literally turns dreamers into defenders,” said Albuquerque Mayor Tim Keller [More]

In other words, illegal foreign nationals will be officially empowered to disarm citizens on American soil. All in the name of addressing crime committed by illegal foreign nationals.

Who needs blue helmets, right, Tim?

A Taxing Proposition

Sen. Joni Ernst (R-IA) on Monday introduced legislation that would sell off millions of dollars of the Internal Revenue Service’s (IRS) firearms to pay for the national debt. As America approaches Tax Day on Tuesday, Ernst introduced the Why Does the IRS Needs Guns Act to reform how the agency handles firearms. [More]

It’s a legitimate question.

But we all know — and she knows — this is posturing, with “0% chance of being enacted.”

If Only This Meant I Were Popular

Some you have told me you’ve been getting this message.

It’s been real slow going for me today, taking up to five minutes just to access the WordPress tool so I could enter a post, then more time to add in key words and publish.

I’ve been down for the past hour working with tech support (when it comes to this stuff I’m a primitive) and they had to clear processes from their server cache. Hopefully things are back on track now.

What this means is I may not get to all the news links sent so far today, so please understand and hold off on sending more. We’ll see if tomorrow is a better day.

A Show of Solidarity

Fox News’ “Outnumbered” panel were outraged over the news that Maryland Democratic Sen. Chris Van Hollen is planning to go to El Salvador “to show solidarity” with a recently deported illegal immigrant. [More]

It’s not like he’ll show it with you.

Just when you think the Democrat we talked about before him was the biggest @$$hole imaginable…

Putting that “Gun Sense Voter” shirt on a child seems apt.

A Bit Late on That Alert

I signed up for emails to help keep track of how my work is spreading.

Being told of articles from 10 years ago is hardly helpful. Then again, it’s all in the algorithm.

Anyway, “mystery” eventually solved:

Ranger John Woychowski… said he left the gun, a .40-caliber Sig Sauer P239 that served as his secondary duty weapon, in a holster inside a backpack stashed under the front seat of his SUV parked on The Embarcadero near Pier 5 while the family went to dinner. The backpack also contained his badge and law enforcement credentials.

In fairness, he did talk to a meter maid…
